"How we do Laundry in Ohio"
One day a housework-challenged husband decided to wash his
sweatshirt.
Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to his wife, "What setting do I use on the washing machine?"
"It depends," she replied. "What does it say on the shirt?"
He yelled back, "University of Michigan"
"Use Hot Water , A box of Tide and Four Cups Bleach."
GO BUCKS!!!!!

Be kind to all who come into your presence
There were years (70's) when any Ohio State loss simply upset me for days. Anger with losses still exist, but I suppose thats only natural. The loss to Illinois really didn't anger me it just kind of deflated me. There have been many Ohio State losses over the years and there will be many more, why get upset. Win or lose to Michigan, i'll just forget about it and turn my attention to the Bowl Game. Win or lose the Bowl Game, I'll wait patiently for next season. No matter what, my year revolves around Ohio State Football.

Peake has ranted and raved about Mike Hart being the greatest running back in Michigan history.
Mike Hart is better known in Ohio for running his mouth, not the ball.
So what does Mike Hart have to say about being the best RB in UM hiostory?
This quote came before the season started:
Well Mike so far your 0-6 in the OSU/Bowl game requirement.

This quote came before the season started:
"I want to beat Ohio State and win a national championship," Hart said, speaking for his teammates in August. "How can I go down as one of the best running backs in Michigan history if I haven't beaten Ohio State? You just can't do that. You have to beat Ohio State, you have to win a bowl game.
Well Mike so far your 0-6 in the OSU/Bowl game requirement.

No doubt, Mike Hart is a great College back.
In 4 years, some may even say 3.5 years, he has rushed the ball 965 times for 4,867 yards. He has a chance to go over 1,000 rushes, and 5,000 against the Buckeyes Saturday.
Many Michigan fans have declared him the best running back ever at UM.
So I wanted to see how he would stack up against the Buckeyes greats.
The biggest difference is number of carries, Mike has more than any other Buckeye. Archie is the closest with 924 carrer attempts.
So, I took the number of attempts by the Buckeye running backs and found what % they were vs. Harts number of carries. Then I multiplied the number of yards by that same %, in order to find out how many yards Buckeyes Running Backs would have if they rushed 965 times in their carrer.
Here are the results:
Archie would have 5,865 yards at 965 rushes
Eddie would have 4,898 yards at 965 rushes
Tim Spencer would have 4,834 yards at 965 rushes
Keith Byars would have 4,834 yards at 965 rushes
Then I got curious about how the other UM backs would fair if they had 965 attempts:
Here are those results:
Tyrone Wheatley would have 5,389 yards at 965 carries
Jamie Morris would have 5,138 yards at 965 carries.
Anthony Thomas would have 4,695 yards at 965 carries.
Chris Perry would have 4,287 yards at 965 carries.
Butch Woolfolk would have 4,851 yards at 965 carries.
So with Mike Hart having 965 carries at this point in his carrer, you can without a doubt say that he has been a very durable back, and has been the biggest key to Michigan's offense.
However, you can also see that given the high number of carries, two Buckeyes running backs would have more yards than Hart, and two more would be within 33 yards of his total.
Also, two Michigan backs would have more yards than Hart, if you project them out to Hart's rush total.
Now, after reading this long post, some probably think I am anti-Hart. That is not the case, I think Mike Hart is a very good player. At UM and OSU though your carrer is measured by one thing, your record in THE GAME.
