The TVC meet has always been the week before the district meets in OHIO. You joined a league that is all Ohio teams therefore you should understand you need to comply with the Ohio rules and TVC rules. Everyone knows when they travel across the creek you follow your rules and do not comply with the TVC rules at all times.
As for moving the dates around, most athletic directors have their officials hired two-three years in advance. So my queston is, why should a league that has been around many decades bend over backwards to help a school district that bad-mouths their own league on a regular basis on this site.
Conference membership and the implied loyalty runs both ways. We were taken in as a member. Therefore, we should be able to expect cooperation on something as simple as when the league meet is. I would think that everyone would want us there. Makes those league titles a little hollow when we arent able to run our best kids in every race because we have to run again the very next day. The date of a meet is not a rule. Getting cooperation on when our open date is in football is not a rule. I cannot speak for the few folks who get on here and "bash" the TVC. Seems to me plenty of that happens from your own state. I like the TVC. I played in it and coached in it for 10 years. I am not dumb enough to think it is perfect however and I would like to see it be the best I can. That would require everyones cooperation including us........
