Congrats Trojans on a great year! I'm really surprised Eastmoor was able to hold off Portsmouth. Huge upset win for them.

Dang I was really hoping that we would really have a true southeast ohio team in the final four.

Another great season for Coach Collins and staff. We are extremely lucky to have as fine a staff as there is in all of SE Ohio.. A big thanks to the departing seniors. This group has been very successful throughout the last few years. They will be greatly missed.
A very good nucleus will be returning for the 2015-16 season so the cupboard is far from bare. Once again we will be limited in size, however I foresee another group that knows how to win at a high level.. Go Trojans!!!

Moses is right the seniors will truly be missed this was a special group of kids best of luck to them all! And yes the bulk of this team comes back and some very good talent coming from jv team and also agree about the coaches these coaches don't get enough credit for what they have done we have been over sized almost all year yet we made it to regional championship game and won 20 games this year.great season

If this year's Portsmouth team would of had a Dion McKinley or even a Williams they would of been very very good(they already are).

VERY PROUD OF OUR PORTSMOUTH TROJANS!!
Our kids fought as hard they could, gave everything they had, and the game went down to Eastmoor having to make 2 FT's to seal the game with just seconds left. The Warriors were the quickest team PHS faced all year, and yet we were right there at the end with a chance to win.
Looking back on the season, the Trojans, Coach Collins and his staff can cherish these accomplishments:
Co-OVC championship in PHS's first year........defeating member schools Coal Grove, Chesapeake, and Ironton in succession in the tournament
62nd sectional championship
37th district championship
17th regional final appearance (11-6 overall)
1,400 win in school history (1,401-745)
19th season in PHS history of at least 20 wins (20-7)
Kyre Allison, SE D3 Player of the Year (He also passed the 1,000 point mark as a junior)
Thanks, Trojans, for a great season, and adding to another chapter of Trojan tournament tradition!!

A little late here, but congrats Trojans on another fine run in the region. Sounds like the final four was a beast of 4.
