The U vs The Cavs

The U vs The Cavs

A Saturday double dipper and hopefully without the sprinkles.
I'm glad to see a resurgence in the Chillicothe program and having them back on the Shermans schedule.

It will be interesting to see how the Cavs look under first year skipper, Bud Lytle.
It will be odd seeing Bud in the Blue and White instead of the Kelly Green.

From the preseason reports it sounds like the Cavs are playing some good ball.
Not much has been reported on the Shermans so it looks like Saturday will be the first time we get a look at the 2015 Unioto Lady Shermans.

This will be the Lady Shermans first trip to the lady Cavs softball complex.
And it's eating away at the X to see if the foul ball poles have a in or out line painted down the center of them.

Any thoughts or predictions on this season opener?

X

Going to be cold Saturday and maybe a little snow on the ground. Hope they get to play!!! Dern this global warming!!!

Saw your beloved Lady Sherman's scrimmage Waverly on Monday. The outfield is young with Gina Wright holding down center but the infield is the same as last year. New catcher, she wasn't tested any by Waverly, so I think that's the only questionable position. Rachael Wright was a born leader.

Good luck to the Lady Shermans!

Chillicothe took a hit losing the two Ray girls. I would definitely go with Unioto.

The Rays X2?

"Losing" as in due to injury
Or
"Losing" as In gone for the season?

I'm sure there are different stories floating around. I was told the polite version, it just wasn't any fun this year. Too bad!

I don't know what the impact if any Travel ball has on this situation,
(Both the entities in this matter has vast travel ball experience)
heck I don't even know what the situation is.
Are cowboy boots popular @ Chillicothe High School?

Still bet this is gonna be a good match-up to get the 2015 high school season started.

Looks as though game is going to be postponed until Tuesday because of cold weather.

I never knew of cold weather backing you off any Bud,
The X did see you practicing in the snow a year or so ago....

Still hard to get use to the Cavalier symbol as your Avatar.

Till Tuesday

Bud Lytle comes to Chillicothe after three years of coaching the Lady Huntsmen of Huntington High School.
While Bud was at Huntington the Huntsmen made two District and one Regional appearance.

Chillicothe's previous coach stepped down after last season of his own choosing.
Coach Phillips done an outstanding job bringing life back into the Cavs program.
