Looks like the Beallsville JV game moved to Week 9.

So, and insiders want to get to bottom of what they are doing in Week 4? OHSAA and school schedule still say Van (WV). Max Preps still says Man(WV). Neither seem likely.

How did the Frontier -Magnolia scrimmage go last evening? New Martinsville friends said the contest was to start at 7:00 pm. I am curious, Magnolia should be very good this year with 24 seniors on the team.

New Coaches for the Cougars this year. Matheny is the qb from what I have heard and they have a couple horses in the backfield as well as Camino back. Will have to wait and see how they do.

In all seriousness, that Camino kid needs 20-25 touches per game. The guy can fly.
I'm penciling him in for all-Ohio if he gets the ball enough.
And from looking at Frontier's schedule, no one on any of the opponents can beat him in a foot race.

No information on the Magnoila-Frontier scrimmage on the 21st?

The scrimmage vs. Magnolia was not great for the cougars. I think it ended up 3 scores for Magnolia 0 Scores for frontier. They had a Linebacker get hurt early and did not come back in and it looked like it hurt them on the defensive side. Offensively they were able to move the ball at time just could not sustain a drive and score. This is an interesting team that could be very scary if it all comes together. They have work to do to become the team to compete for the league and playoffs. Will see how they do tonight vs. the Zeps and that good RB i have been hearing about.
