Hard game to pick.

Ironton should be better than last year and Burg shouldn't be as good as they were.

Could be a very tight game. I'll give Ironton a slight advantage since its at the Tank.

Im not sure i would say the burg will be down. they have a lot of skill guys back, 2-3 starters back on oline. remember most people thought they would be down last year. If they find a qb, which the coaches always seem to do, the potential is there for another very good year.

Even though I have friends from both areas, and the game is at ironton with the home field edge! Since this is almost mid June I will make an early prediction! A lot of cramps, a lot of hot dog's consumed and some adult beverage consumed! All that being said the final score will be??????????????????????????

I think the fighting tigers have a great year this season. hard to say. these games are always awesome. the overall is way in the tiger's favor as far as the series. but the burg has had our number of late.

Anxious for this season to start. Haven't been around this site for a while but think I might add my two cents worth every now and then if its worth that much. The Burg are always loaded and talking to those Burgites they come well prepared to tell you how good they will be. Well I know Ironton has a couple running backs that will test just how good they are. Dez And DeAngelo, better known as thunder and lighting will test their metal. Glad I don't have to chase after those two young men. Will be an interesting year. My concern for Ironton is the open that hasn't been filled. Might just cost them a playoff berth.

Seems like Da Burg NEVER gets tired throughout the game???? They play ALL four qtrs like the game just started! If the Pirates have a fast start then the tigers will have a hard time coming back in the 3rd and especially in the 4th. jmo

that is very true. i'll admit it. they are coming into week 1 better conditioned-- you can see that. burg trys to throw a death punch on you early and often. the fighting tigers will have to play better run defense this year. and shut down the edges. and burg can always pass. but with the burg, you have to be able to shut them down, and at the same time be able to score points as well.and their hurry up offense is exhaustive. but everybody knows it. no excuse coming into this game and not being prepared for the hurry up.so we only have ourselves to blame if that's the case this year.

Burg will be down this year and the Tigers are looking pretty good. I'm going with a Tiger win by 14.
