Same bout every year on here. Too many know it alls
Re: WHEELERSBURG @IRONTON.WEEK 1 -YOUR THOUGHTS.
I know he can bench press over 400 lbs and I would guess his mile would be in range. My son trains part time at his gym. So that part for sure was true. As far as how good burg will be only time will tell. I will assure you though, I foresee a very good year for the Tigers. I'm not playing the game and it is game one so many things can happen, including the very first drive, which might determine the winner.Badboy wrote:You're Tiger Bait wrote:cannon is an official and it's possible somebody told him something he could take to the bank.
He also said a few years ago that be can benchpress 300 lbs and run the mile in under 10 minutes.
It all lines up as................hog wash.
As far as CG vs Burg I will say he does have very close ties to the people who would and I would never question him about Burg info or Coal Grove info. He would know both sides pretty much first hand.

@YTB...If I wanted to single you out I would have done so....you know what they say about (assume) ass-u-me..........
I don't understand fido.
I never thought you were singling me out for anything. I thought we were here to talk about football which means past, present and future. least I thought so. sounds like you are ready to throw the fighting tigers under the bus. what's more of the same here is every year a few posters take it upon themselves to bully and antagonize. it's only natural if you are not a fighting tiger fan, to not like them. I'm fine with that but I try to get along with everybody. I'm not just an ironton fan. I'm a southern ohio football fan.i like that you chose to use the word wallow, I'm pretty perceptive.i've never been nothing but good to you.what's new that is being brought to the table is ironton in the ovc, nothing I can do about that. and no you don't see all the Columbus beasts and private schools on the schedule now. what do you want me to say. you want to throw all that in the mix. my only concern is how it affects week 11.you wanna say the mighty have fallen---at least understand we have a history to talk about. do you not want us to be proud of the school's we follow. if I was as intellectually talented as you, I might have more to say.

I think everybody here should try to just get along. that's what caused this site to tank. too many cyber bullies.
this is not an mma pre fight press conference interview. at least on the high school football forum, we are here to discuss high school football, high school athletes, coaches and the like.we are all just fans here with various walks of life here trying to express our gratitude as fans. hey if the fighting tigers tank(no pun intended) I'm sure they'll do it in a manner that they should, shake your hand win/lose and try again next time. if they continue to ride high. that's purty much what we expect. my only concern right now is wheelersburg. then i'll want to talk about week 2. wheelersburg is always fundamentally sound, coached well, in shape and ready to rock n roll. hopefully the other guys in orange and black will be to.

Personally, I don't think Jackson has the atmosphere you are speaking of. They have a great stadium with plenty of seating, but with the larger stadium, you lose some of the atmosphere....IMO.You're Tiger Bait wrote:what a wonderful atmosphere there in Jackson. beautiful stadium, great parking, festive atmosphere. reminds me a lot of ironton, burg's atmosphere.

Felt same way at burg last year. Nothing special , home fans were quiet most of the game.4th n Goal wrote:Personally, I don't think Jackson has the atmosphere you are speaking of. I tell ya'll what. I don't know what game you went to. but go to an ironton/Jackson game some time. maybe it ain't as exciting when they are way ahead. but we were in a very good game with the ironmen, and both sides were rockin. and ironton has had their number for decades and andy hall has changed that big time. I'd still love to see the 2 tangle again every year.

Still no takers? I'll go big money and make it worth everyone's time if I'm wrong on this one. I know cannon and his entourage have seen my bet......they have posted all over the board since then. I'm not scared. Do you want some action? I'm game. ......PirateFan2 wrote:I'm with you on that one!!!!! :122249 :122246 :aaaaa74

You probably need to call that since you are all fired up to bet on high school sports I'm pretty sure that's a sign of a problem.

What was the boy's name for Ironton that Jackson had a hard time stopping last year? That boy runs hard. I bet he runs like a wild wind this year.

No....I'm fired up to bet at least a cool grand that you can't bench press 400lbs and run a 10 minute mile. Don't start back peddling now.....it has nothing to do with high school sports.
So are you going to put up, or shut up?

Oh you want to bet on what I can lift. Then you have an even more serious gambling problem than I thought. Definitely call that number.

Re: WHEELERSBURG @IRONTON.WEEK 1 -YOUR THOUGHTS.
I believe your talking about D'Angelo Palladino, strong and fast. I heard he's been working pretty hard and has gained some muscle since last season. He played at about 185 lbs last year and He's planning on being right around 205 when the season begins.Trenchfoot wrote:What was the boy's name for Ironton that Jackson had a hard time stopping last year? Re: WHEELERSBURG @IRONTON.WEEK 1 -YOUR THOUGHTS.
This says he runs a 4.97 40, that is slow for a D1 recruit skill player. Is that a misprint? He look faster then that on video.

Re: WHEELERSBURG @IRONTON.WEEK 1 -YOUR THOUGHTS.
Yep, that's him. Thanks for the info Buckeye2/C-bolt. That young man is a very nice elusive skilled running back and will even be better this year imo. He has a textbook looking line of great Ironton running backs. Opposing teams are really going to have their hands full. I hope he stays injury free, could be looking close to a 2000 yard year out of this young man. Wouldn't surprise me.
