Re: Belpre @ Fort Frye Week 1
Fart Frye gonna get their arses waxed in this one!
Belpre 47
Fart Frye 0
No way the TVC can ever entice FFHS tojoin after this beating.

Re: Belpre @ Fort Frye Week 1
Fort Frye should actually be pretty good this year as they return 8 starters on offense and 7 on defense. Last season only skill player that was SR. was QB T. Huck. They return rb Kacey Lewis who had 12 tds last year. Loaded jr class features RB Lewis, Rb Clay Baker , RB/WR Brady Carpenter , QB/WR Garrett Lockery and TE/FB Jacob Prittchard. The line returns 3 starters and 5 players that started a game. 3 key Srs Anthony Winters, Zach Hupp and Garrin Knotts will anchor the line. QB will be key they could start mega talented freshman Tate Engle or go with Lockery or Lewis. Coming off a 7 win season I expect the Cadets to win 7 or 8 this season. This should be a heck of a week 1 matchup I say Eagles have the edge at Wr (Bedgood) and QB ( Miller) but other then that Cadets should have the better line and defense. Eagles might be the favorite but it should be fun.

Actually they have the most they have had in quite a while about 40 and they only lost one player from last years team that handled Fort pretty easily. Granted that player will be hard to replace since it was Manney Tullius but all the rest return.Should be a good game but I look for the Eagles to take this one.EasternDspy wrote:They have what 20 guys

Handed easy what game were you watching? Fort Frye out gained Belpre and turnovers killed them. Eagles only score in the 2nd half was a defensive score. If these to 2 teams would of played in week 5 Fort would of won. The score was 35-21 btw.

You got a lot of ifs,if a bird had a piano up his butt there would be music in the air.You got your butt kicked and that was that,I'm kind of old but if I remember right two of your scores were gifts from a young Belpre team. I didn't hear you walk out of the stadium saying "Fort owns Belpre" like you did two years ago.Maybe you should try to reschedule the game to week 5 this year if you think that will help.

If FF starts a freshman at QB there will be a learning curve no matter how talented he his.
Re: Belpre @ Fort Frye Week 1
really early pick on this one but like someone posted earlier, FF always tough at home no matter what the sport. Cadets by less than a TD.

@EasternDSpy
Have you seen the Engle kid play? What do you mean when you say "mega-talented?" Thanks.

Yea the kid has great genes and is very athletic. If the Cadets choose to start him he will have to earn it. I think the kid is going to be very good.

Line should be a strength with Minks, Knotts , Hupp , Winters and Owen Matheny. Cadets front 7 is really deep. They have a ton of veterans. Excited to watch them play coach Huck is building a great program.
