OVC Soccer

Now that the OVC has Fairland, South Point, Chesapeake and Gallipolis as soccer schools, I wonder if Portsmouth will consider making a comeback into soccer? They have a very nice facility with also the option of Spartan Stadium and the SSU turf field for potential use as well.

I saw the thread where Rock Hill is starting up a junior high team, so I expect they will make a push for high school soccer soon.

I noticed last time I was at Portsmouth that there are at least soccer sidelines at the Colosseum so I'd say the field is prepared if Portsmouth decided to add at least boys soccer. Ironton would be another who could also add soccer. I'm not sure though about Rock Hill adding soccer without an impact on football. Didn't they only have 27 players for football last season?
