Re: wk1 Nelsonville-York at Trimble (Saturday)
I liked what I saw from NY last night in the scrimmage against Jackson.
Don't know too much about three-headed monsters lol everyone is talking about or who those three are, but was impressed with the QB and a lot of their players both "skill" spots and otherwise. They played inspired and with confidence the entire game, very good looking program.
Haven't seen Trimble play, but I will go with NY in this one by less than 6 points in an instant Athens County classic.

Your prediction on the website was dead on IMO. Bucks will roll with the 3 headed monster.Dundas wrote:This will be http://www.vcvikings.com game of the week! Check out our preview article NOW!!

As you will soon see no one receiver will "take Warren's spot." It will be receiver by committee.Alexander Hitman wrote:Ground buck who is taking the Warren boys spot this season for the Bucks? He is tough to replace...

I am just curiuos! Is NY now a passing team? I seriously doubt it really matters if NY has a good receiver. I would bet that Boston doesnt throw the ball more than 5 times against the Cats.

Is Edwards the QB?.....Seems like he would have him passing more.

Yes Hunter is the QB and expect more passing from the Buckeyes this year.noreply66 wrote:Is Edwards the QB?.....Seems like he would have him passing more.
The offense should be more balanced.

Watched some of the scrimmage film of Athens-Trimble. Both are down this year in talent. Trimble is weak in the secondary and thats where N-Y will go, in addition to their ground game. Athens ran with some success. My pick is N-Y.

I will be making my first trip to Trimble to watch a game. I am going with the home team. I do think this will be close, maybe 7-13 points.

I look for NY to win their first game and their next three after that.
