Someone post the scorers and minute marks, guarantee the starters scored 9 of the goals and some were beyond necessary. SP didnt pull their starters until way later than that. How could they pull their starters when burg was still scoring. Burg scored 7 in the 2nd half. If thats not pouring it on then....

Don't they have a state record for most goals in a game? I could be wrong though. SAVEtheNITE or dr. Rabbit would know for sure.

Yes back in 1999. 28 vs west union. Not sure if that qualifies a team that runs it up from one game. Not a record to be proud of unless you win 28-27

Did the burg girls let some wins slip away this week because they pulled some girls to early ?

Minford lost to a very good Athens team 1-0 last night. Minford ' s defense and goalie played a great game to limit Athens to just the one goal. Offense had several attacks in second half that came up empty, but it could be argued that the officials missed what should have been 2 PK's. Definitely need the 3rd official.

The 1st game for the girls was an allignment issue. They have three very fast soccer players, he was using two in the first half and fell behind until the second half when he went to three forwards. In the second game, yes, starters went out early. Both games could have easily went to the pirates.
