Expect Millersport to run out of the Wing-T on offense. They are coached by Josh Whetstone, an alum of the program who previously served in assistant coaching stints at Linsly (WV) and West Muskingum. They won't be overwhelming on the line, but I do believe they retain several of the coaches from the previous staff that were instrumental in snapping a 48-game losing skid and creating a 7-3 season for the Lakers. Their numbers will be very low, so depth will be an issue. Look for #22 Dalton Ankeney to get a couple touches, he is their bruiser who also has some lateral moving ability. #25 Beau Thorne is a competitor and he will run hard, he can be a load to bring down with his low center of gravity. #3 Storm Singleton will be dangerous in open space, look for the Lakers to try and get him in 1-on-1 situations.

Excited about the first Football Friday Nite in Beaver. Eagles have some very athletic kids. If they avoid injuries they will surprise people and be competitive.

the eagles will be tough for a first year varsity program are expected to win wi#th the team they have. #1 ethan leist is a tough qb and works very good out the spread offense we run hard really moves the ball good on the ground and in the air cole fremont and bryce webb will take the bulk of the carries. two good tall wide recivers in #13 clay martin nd o wen strong defense is lead by the linebackers and they are as good as any linebackers in the area. i see they eaea winning by 2 scores tonight just like basketball i look for it to be hard to beat the eagles at home.
