Would think this would be a good measuring stick for these two teams and probably a must win for either of these teams if they hope to make a playoff run.

I think it will be a good one. I am hoping for the Spartans to pull out a close one. This will be won by the big guys up front. It should be a battle.

Go Alex.

After what Chesapeake did in game one I can see them winning by 2 scores

I don't know much about Chesapeake. The Spartans are led by a ton of seniors this year. The program is rebuilding, but have a window of potential success this year. I am sure this is going to be a very good game. I think the team with the most rushing yards are going to win this game.

Go Alex.

Impressed with the Panthers after game one. I don't think the Oaks were as good as I heard they may be. The scoreboard could turn into a Christmas tree this Friday. Both teams have the ability to score and in a hurry. This past week I was very impressed with the Panther defense. If they perform the same this week they will win. Go Peake!!

I'm gonna pick the Panthers in a nail-biter.

Peake 42
Alex 35

Spartans come to play this week and get a close win. Curious to see how well Chesapeakes corners do against the Spartans receivers two nice size targets this year that go up after the ball.

I believe the receiver/CB battle will be interesting. With a lot of Seniors on both squads, it should be an excellent game to watch. This game could turn into a track meet with lots of points.

Turnovers will tell the story in the end. Whoever takes care of the ball will score the most points, and according to some expert analysis earlier on this thread, that team will most likely win.

Wish more people were talking about this game. This very well could be the best game of the week!

I think there's not a lot of talk because the 2 teams don't know much about each other. Oak Hill is down, so was the Peake's win that impressive? Federal Hocking doesn't appear to be a quality opponent for Alexander, so how impressive was their win? An up-and-coming D6 vs an up-and-coming D5. Two Senior heavy squads who's records have mirrored each other the last few years. The similarities are eerie. Should be a good ballgame, but I'm obviously hoping the Peake gets to 2-0.

Not causing a stir but if your team has a lot of Seniors how can it be a rebuilding year?
Isn't that a year that they should be at their best ?
Or are these players that never played .
Just asking

Peake wins with more points at the end of the game.
