My prediction? Pain!!
only pain is gonna be when someone gets SERIOUSLY HURT in this PEE WEE FOOTBALL FORMATION YOU CALL A POWER RUNNING T, I , WHATEVER ITS CALLED

im gonna keep track something for rest of this season(think I take pen and paper to next game LOL

when power running is presented to defense
game 1 Burg 9 players within 5 yds (swarmed the middle)
game 2 Russell ALL 11 within 5 yds ( annihilated the middle ALL 11 )
game 3 desperately hope I only see that formation less than 10 times in this game

if the line wont block as I see some of you posting then the QB needs more room to work , and if they wont block why put the play to middle ??

the QB has got to be moving with options of what to do run/pass

ive not seen this QB make a bad decision yet ( the 2 picks was pretty much long passes that was thrown up for grabs)

You are so blind you have no clue about football. We are up 6 with 5 mins to go. Instead of running the ball and running the clock out we decide to pass. We get a fumble recovered for a TD. Get the ball back and pass and go 3 and out and leave Russell plenty of time on the clock to score. Now if you run the ball you run at least 40 secs off the clock or you force Russell to use their timeouts to stop the clock with helps our defense also. Either way you win the game.

We are 6 of 24 passing for 65 yards with 2 pics. Yea that passing game is really working for us. We definitely need to do more of that.

only way to win ANY game is to SCORE more points than other team!!!
the play selection at that point was MISERABLE but that's par for the course with this crew

why not let the QB have multiple options ?????

If the other teams offense isn't on the field they can't score.

^^^^^^^^not good football philosophy

if the other team scores 14 im scoring 21 if they score 42 im scoring 49

a lot better ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

there is certain times to play keep away its jut not the entire game LOL
and if were going to play keep away why not use the 2nd string some so the starters not WORE OUT (were only playing keep away H*** my 2nd string can do that)

If I have to score 49 because the other team is scoring 42 then I got a lot of problems. Now if I can score 10 and keep the other team at 7 by eating the clock and holding them 3 and out then that's a great thing. See Ironton won a lot of games with that philosophy. That kind of philosophy just made Coach Lutz the winningest coach in Ohio, but I can tell you must be a way better coach because of your throw it 30 times a game philosophy.

"If I have to score 49 because the other team is scoring 42 "(that sounds like a team that is 15-0)LOL

I gotta stop arguing with u
so back to this beechwood game I heard both 32 and 22 will not play (who knows if true) I think ALL of ironton should come out to watch this 1 cause I know I sure cant wait to see what the plan is with those 2 players out

I never said 30 passing plays its just gotta be a good mixture 30-20 run/pass (the trick is the passing plays must not always occur in passing situations)

I watched that state game vs Trimble have it taped actually. That team was about a 75-80% running attack like I have been saying. Run to win.
Anyway to the beechwood game Ironton has a chance, but has to play perfect and hit people.

I agree we have chance , like to approach anygame as in having chance I think they still have chance at playoffs with 7-3 record that entire region is weak

this beechwood team gave up like 240yds vs the pass, so they stuff the run but are weaker against the pass

not sure what your asking ?? but my prediction is (IF nothing gets changed this week)

ironton
50 total plays
42 will be known running formations
1 long pass
7 shorter passes
0 screen pass
0 both tall wr on same side of ball
0 play action pass
0 mis direction plays
0 trick play

If the entire region is weak, and Ironton has already lost to one team in said region, what does that say about them?
