Guess it's schedule filler but really Waverly gains nothing by playing games like this. All the teams out there if you're willing to travel that far to play a 1pm Saturday game I have to think there was a better quality opponent available, then a D4 school dropping down and playing a below par D7 school.

I think they were in a crunch and had to fill the date. Most schools are playing league games by week 4.

Ridgedale's conference saw a team leave with <1 year's notice and said team was supposed to play Ridgedale in week 4 this year.

I like Waverly but lets keep things in prospective, they have not been a Juggernaut in recent times on the football field.
