Looks like Paint Valley provided a nice step up in competition for the Falcons.

Minford fell to a very good team last night. The defense continues to impress while the offense does the opposite. The offense they are trying to run is not working just does not have the personnel. Maybe in a year but not the this year. Minford faced possibly the best team so far out of the SOCII non conference and more than held their own.The breaks just didnt fall right last night. Move on and get ready for the next game.

Agreed, if you're running the spread you need speed at the skill positions and if anything else you need to throw the ball 30-to-40times a game. There's still many things you can do with the under, screens, pick, clearout and hitch routes With all the rain we've had the past 2 Friday nights, it's makes running that type of offense more difficult. The Falcons will have a week to get it figured out, then they will get into the meat of the schedule.
