I'm no spring chicken and I've never heard of a conotton valley ? Where in the world is that ? On the downside of some WV mountain ?

They be in the northern tip of Harrison County OH between Uhrichsville and Scio, Closest known reference points of note would be New Philadelphia or Cadiz. The Rockets had a awful long losing streak back in the late 60's and early 70's. 80 some games maybe, but my mind is getting feeble.

Ironton showing up & hanging with beechwood. Beechwood qb is quite good. Ironton's jaje Isaac with an 80 yard jaunt on a keeper for pay dirt. Ironton defense playing strong after BHS last score. For that score BHS received ball @ Ironton 43 yd after a horrendous punt(19yds). Ironton D got tough & held BHS to 4th & 8. BHS Excellent qb lobs a 40-yarder that goes right through Ironton's defender, carrico's hands & into BHS excellent RB/WR, slushers hands for pay dirt.
After that. IN 2nd qrtr. IHS D holds BHS TO 3 & outs & posts two scores. IHS has had a pat blocked(Desmond young is new kicker), made 1, & just missed pass for the 2point conversion to bring it to 21-19. Ironton has put more pressure on BHS QB than he's had all year. He's also missed more passes than his percentage of 79%.
Palladio is not dressed. Desmond, Barker, carrico, & Rowe performing well on running plays. Lucas Campbell with his first two catches of season @ crucial times. Play calling for IHs vastly improved!!!
