Ironton down by 2 to start 3rd qrtr & will receive ball.
Ironton 11 play 5:37 minute drive to be stopped on 4 & 3 . @22 yd.
Line.
Ironton holds 3 & out. BHS to punt but runs for first down on 4 & 1. Runs for td next play of 82. Yd jaunt. Gets 2point conversion. BHS 35 IHS 19.
10 minutes remain.
BHS offense dominates & Ironton improves, but can't finish drives after half. Getting stopped on 4 & short on long drives.
Ironton D also folds in 4th qrtr. Alliowing Long runs, long passes etc.
No turnovers until under 1minute in game via interception trying to work on passing under pressure. (They had driven quite well prior to that.
Game over. An improvement for IHS. They were always in this game. But not any finishing power when needed.
BHS QB & RB both incredible. Best QB faced this season. They're ranked #1 for that reason.

IHS Against Ashland next week. Definitely will be a tough game.
On a positive note, IHS best performance as a team against the most talented team we've faced offensively. Beechwood was much smaller than anyone we've faced, but very fast & deceptive. We put more pressure on their 4-year starting QB, then he has faced. Ironton crowd got vocal! Only 3 penalties. New guys in & out to give 2-ways a play off & played well.
Gotigersgo! Ironton fans.... Hang tough & show support.

What I saw when Meigs play Amanda i knew it would not be a runaway....but not this close
