Re: Week 4: Raceland (3-1) @ Valley (3-0)
Raceland played Greenup at home and won 12-6. Raceland had numerous turnovers and looked flat. If Raceland plays like they did last week, Valley will have no trouble.
On another note... Russell beat Greenup 19-13
The two teams Raceland beat were East Carter and West Carter. Both teams are Average AT BEST.

I may just have to come and watch this one. I might even set with my buddy pmow3 as long as he is not wearing that yellow rain suit. LOL!

As of today the Combined records of the remaining schedule for Raceland is 15-6.
Raceland still has remaining Valley, Portsmouth West, Lawrence County, Ashland Fairview, Paintsville and Russell.
Valley, Lawrence County and Paintsville are Racelands biggest hurdles.
If Valley Beats Raceland, let those Computer Points flow like crazy!

Re: Week 4: Raceland (3-1) @ Valley (3-0)
I believe Raceland is a spread style offense, which helps Valley's Defense. The only real concern for Valley is a physical run team, and I'm not sure how much of a concern that is... But teams who have had some success have been physical runers especially on the edges.
Offensively depends completely on Valley. There is alot of talent, they seem to get bored and make mental errors at time. Line play has been pretty decent, although the Piketon game last week had a few mental assignment errors on blitzing backers.
If I were Raceland, I would bring Pressure and spy Howard. See if Rolfe can be patient enough under pressure to find other play makers, or use his feet. He probably can, but I have seen what Howard can do and would rather take chances on the unknown then let Rolfe -Howard show continue.
I don't know if that it works, but I know letting Howard run at will and then split out and make tremendous runs after catches does not!
And yes as soon as you spy Howard Romanello is single covered which is another kind of nightmare, but is it as consistent as Howard?

Interesting game. Raceland looked slow in the video I saw against West Carter. Think Valley will be too much.

I hope it is a close game. Valley wins by 14. Might make the drive to see this one.
