Should be another tight game. Hard to believe the Fort hasn't won in Woodstick since '89.
Doesn't look like MC has enough weapons. Where's the offense? Cadets really surprising me.

1. Cadets have to bring the intensity on defense they are bigger this yr and the defense is why they are (4-0). 2.I think they will spy on Hooper to avoid him running the ball. 3. Continue to lean on that good offensive line and smash the ball and control the clock. I think the Cadets matchup very well in this one.

Fort Frye is looking solid. I think they can win this one.

After another good game last night Casey Lewis has 477 yards and 6 tds on the ground I'm sure the Cadets will try to get him going.

Toss up game, IMO. Fort has the better record, but Central has played better competition so far. Depth could be a big factor in this, and that's not a luxury the Seminoles have this year.

MC is back at home. Jays going to have to get back to Seminole football and run it right at FF. We have the better line and QB. MC will win 27-14

Caldwell did kick our butts, but the kids had a rough day with the lockdown at school and they just didn't play as well as they were capable of.Wiskerbizket wrote:EasternDspy wrote:Can't wait to hear PVC Mans opinion

River and Caldwell ran the ball very well I think Cadets will lean on the bevy ball carriers in this one. Clay Baker coming off an 88 yard game should get some work. Cadets leading rusher is Casey Lewis ( 477 Yards 6 tds) and he is one of the faster players in the league. Cadets just have a ton of skills players and play great defense. This should be a smash mouth tough game.
Re: WK 5: Fort Frye (4-0) @ Monroe Central (2-2)
Dspy, I highly doubt that FF 's line is comparable to Caldwells. I hope you guys just line up and try to run it down our throats. If that's your game plan then we will be 3-2 after week 5.

I never said Fort had a better line then Caldwell I said better then Monroe.. Why not worked for River? Im sure Monroe will stack the box and Fort will be ready.

Re: WK 5: Fort Frye (4-0) @ Monroe Central (2-2)
I look for some old fashioned smash mouth football early on. Johnstown was grinding out their touchdowns ground in the first half of the game this week, so I look for Monroe Central to try a lot of that. Fort Frye's passing game is improving, but they're not ready to beat people through the air yet. The Cadet line is one of the great strengths of this team, so I feel like Fort Frye has a good shot to win, but it's a pretty even game in my mind.

Monroe Central could jump right back into the D6 playoff picture, but Ft. Frye leaves Woodsfield with it's first W there since '89.
Just believe MC is not using Alleman enough. Kid's a brute. Should be carrying the ball 25+ times. He doesn't have Levi Brown speed, but he's hard to knock down.
Cadets will double-team Kilburn on the line. Hooper will have to play mistake free. FF by a whisker.

Re: WK 5: Fort Frye (4-0) @ Monroe Central (2-2)
This may be the year the Cadets end a very long loosing streak Woodsfield. Monroe has beaten Union Local and Shadyside lost to very good Magnolia very good Caldwell and good River. We will see where Fort Frye falls in the picture of "good" teams. Monroe always plays well at home, this year may not be any different.
