If it weren't for a late game TD, Chiefs would have fell to a D4 Meigs team as well.

Just thought I'd throw that out there ...

;-)
Now that the Bulldogs are back to irrelevance the old bulldog has to poke his head around here.

Loco, while we are throwing things out there maybe we should throw bulldog off this Chieftain thread. Ahh 93 always likes to follow a winner. Get on board Bulldog.

Why play a D7 school? Just asking a legit question. Is Shadyside usually a powerhouse?

Would you rather have an open date, or maybe schedule a Canadian team or better yet The Sisters of the Poor! You are Nuts!

Yes, Shady side is usually in the regional finals or further almost every year.
They have had some epic battles with Trimble in the playoffs the last few years.
They are down a bunch this season though.

How many times in the last couple years did certain people use the following words in an Athens or TVC Ohio post:

Weak-Big Fish-Little Fish-Run From Competition-SEO Schools To Scared To Schedule Up

But when the tables are turned and you point out the facts, like D2 Logan this year with their 10-game regular season schedule plays on average D4 teams then everyone hurls insults around lol...apparently those insults were fine last couple years when directed outside of Hocking County.

Were there no other teams in Week 6 besides D7 Shadyside lol...surely you don't want us to believe that do you lol.

Go thump your chest and play on average two divisions down...just don't cast stones if you live in glass houses...onward Chieftain Envy.

Lancaster (11X)
Zanesville (6X)
Gahanna-Lincoln (2X)
Hamilton Township (2X)
Reynoldsburg (2X)
Nelsonville-York (5X)
Jonathan Alder (2X)
Columbus Northland (1X)
Newark (2X)
Teays Valley (3X)
Loudonville (2X)
Meigs (2X)
Athens (1X)

Shadyside (1X)

Should also add that Dublin Jerome "replaces" Shadyside next year (Athens moves to week 6, Jerome will be the opener).

Logan is looking for a game week nine if you want to pick out an opponent. Right now Jackson and Bishop Watterson are the only teams listed with open dates on the OHSAA website.

Yes shadyside is.their are down this year.Their QB went to the Big 10 this year played in play offs 11 years in a row usually go 9 and 1 or 10-0 every year played in the finals couple times I think.won couple regional titles I do for sure.May be D-7. But usually a very good team.still a lot of points instead of a bye week just not this year.

Just ignore Icky Dicky. We all know why Logan added Shadyside this year ( for one year only and on the road) as THEY agreed to play us too. Shadyside , most years, would wipe the field with most teams in SEO. I continue to enjoy the envy espoused by the clueless, like Icky Dicky and some others. Logan has no problem playing teams from the OCC or parochial powers like DeSales. I'll continue to laugh at the wimp schedules most play year in, year out in SEO . Too bad most don't follow Logan's lead and play TOUGH teams and playoff powers. SEO would be better for it. 8)

No room to laugh at anyone's schedule fat boy with the joke of a schedule Logan has. You can't hide from it, try as you will. Your school ran from competition by dropping Lancaster and picked up a D7 team that is 0-7. You talk on here how SEO teams are scared to schedule anyone from NE Ohio, and the MAC. Then your D2 team schedules a win less D7 team. OUCH that has to chafe your arse and it will huant your fat asszz for the rest of your life on here. And I love it...

Yes, you are fat and stupid. No shocker you have no response but in your defense there really is none except that Logan is running from competition.
