Week 5 GAHS to face powereful PPHS Friday
POWERFUL PPHS , GAHS is 0 - 4 every team they have played has been POWERFUL to GAHS, just another long Friday night.
But on the Bright side for GAHS its going to get better because next year the games are going to get easier, WELCOME to the OVC.

Gallia's entire football program is in bad shape. It's hard to believe it has went down hill this far. Will be many years before you see a competitive Blue Devil program again.
Re: Week 5 GAHS to face powereful PPHS Friday
Sorry to say you may be right... it hasn't been that long ago that gallia and Jackson were considered top programs in the area. Jackson has continued to get better and produce top notch teams while gallia has went in the opposite direction... From what I am hearing we won't be playing Jackson in the coming years... that use to be one of the biggest games for both teams.. Hate to see it end.....Ironmen44 wrote:Gallia's entire football program is in bad shape. It's hard to believe it has went down hill this far. My post was a fact.
I don't know will finish higher, lower, or tied with them....it was Spring Valley 21 Ripley 14 at the end of the third quarter last Friday. Same team that held SC to 14 and beat them just one week before.
And honestly....LC is better than Ripley.
The same 2 teams that have been out scored:
Lincoln County (65-179) by teams that are a combined (9-7) with 4 of those wins being Point.
Ripley (48-202) by teams that are a combined (10-6) with 4 of those wins being Point.
You threw out scores in middle of games, here is how they have finished. for a minus 532
Right now your entire schedule is (10-21)
Lincoln County (0-4) out scored (65-179)
Ripley (0-4) out scored (48-202)
Wayne (2-2) have outscored their opponents (155-146)
Logan, WV (2-2) have out scored their opponents (111-101)
Gallia (0-4) out scored (50-108)
Parkersburg South (3-1) have out scored their opponents (144-50)
Oak Hill (1-3) out scored (50-129)
Ravenswood (0-3) out scored (49-119)
Shady Spring (0-4) out scored (28-241)
Princeton (2-2) have out scored their opponents (125-82)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Totals have been out scored by (825-1357) for a minus 532

Re: Week 5 GAHS to face powereful PPHS Friday
I just don't understand the whole traveling across boards just to bash us.
Some of these deals haven't panned out and the teams around us are at low points.
Oak Hill was in the playoffs and went down. Shady was in the semi finals when we signed that deal. Are you saying you wouldn't have signed that deal?
Like I've said before...I'd understand people complaining If we were going to playoffs and getting destroyed every year. We lost Cody on the first possession last year and still beat a Jefferson team with the best receiver in the state then traveled 5 hours and gave Martinsburg all they could handle without Cody. We aren't getting pummeled 70-0 every year.

The score may be the same or worse then last year. But at least the blue devils come into this game this year relatively healthy and will hopefully show up to compete instead of last year when they just tried to get through the game. i will throw a score out there 63-21. think if they can get through this game healthy and at least have some success. They may be able to be very competitive with Athens
Re: Week 5 GAHS to face powereful PPHS Friday
Was just informed that their was some vandalism on the windows and doors of GAHS.....Nothing extreme just something to the tune of "Go Big Blacks" and "PPHS" I really wish I believed there was hope that this could fire up the boys in blue, but I don't believe there is much fire in them. I hope its treated as some friendly badgering and not anything more.
Re: Week 5 GAHS to face powereful PPHS Friday
At least they didn't burn their message on memorial field like someone did years ago.....

It is slightly raining at 5:45 p.m. Hope it stops before game and GAHS Athletic Hall of Ceremonies.
