Athens is back to playing with their "native talent" with mixed results as usual. No more O.U. coaches' sons to bail them out. Yet , they should win this one handily. Gallia is totally out of talent and may well go "0 for". My sources them me the cupboard is bare in the French city and maybe one major reason they wanted out of the SEOAL. Another one willing to try the minor leagues. bullpuppies win.

Gallipolis has been playing better offensive if their defense can contain Athens' QB this could be a good game

This game should be a pick-em game. Athens has beat a very bad warren team that blue devils will beat and a very bad vinton county team that the blue devils would beat if they played. This is not Gallia academy's most talent rich team but it has talent. people need to realize the blue devils opponents so far this year are 20-5. And one of those loses have came head to head. This game comes down to if Gallia academy can slow down athens offense if it can blue devils win. If it can't athens by about 2 scores. This should be an upset alert game.

The teams Athens lost to are a combined 14-1. Two of those games were tight in the fourth quarter. A play here, play there and Athens is (4-1) heading into their trip to the French City.

Gallia Academy competing in this game is not out of the realm of possibilities here.

Players and staff at GA have read or heard talk about this or that or 1-9 or 0-10 and are probably about sick of it, I know I would be. Back a team in a corner where they have nothing to lose and are willing to try some different things and you never know how things will turn out.

It is being played in the Swamp, on a rainy week with a team that is looking to prove their grit. A competitive game is not out of the question here.

Blue Devils are due. I believe the rain and wet conditions could favor the Devils in this matchup. Devils win by 6

93Bulldog. I need 2015 Athens grid roster...If it rains, I'll probably listen to the game on radio. I get my stats from the school stats man. Despite all the rain the past few days, "The Swamp" is not in bad condition...right now. Thanks for a roster. Hobe
