Wellston and VC with disappointing years in 2014. Wellston and VC both making coaching changes after 2014, and both taking their time to select new staffs. Wellston and VC both with renewed expectations then BOOM after all those months of waiting, only one of those teams expectations coming to fruition thus far.

Had our chance against Alexander and did not get it done, but expect a much different story this week against River Valley.

I like our chances to get back to 4-2 and back in the play-off mix. This game will provide some points to the winner and we match up well I think.

I think its pretty safe to say VC would have the same record as Wellston if they had the same schedule.

What?! If VC cannot get a win against teams with losing records like Unioto, piketon, fairfield union, and athens,.. I doubt you would have same record as Wellston if VC played our schedule. The fact is vc is 0'fer and wellston is 3-2. Vc's only chance for a W is next friday.

Vinton County would beat Huntington and adena , and probably west. They would be 2-3 or 3-2 with wellston schedule. Wellston needs to win tonight to move the program forward. I don't think 5-5 is the goal anymore .

I totally agree that Wellston needs to get past 5-5. No more excuses. My point was about vc is that if they only put up 6,2, and 8 against unioto, piketon, and fairfield union, i doubt you can say they would beat Huntington, adena, and West. Maybe 1 of the 3 at best. VC's defense is not bad but their offense is awful.

3-7 is starting to look better for season. After watching tonight's game do we not have any tightens that can catch the ball? Maybe coach should look at some of the smaller players to be on the line because those big boys aren't getting the job done line standers is all they were tonight. River valley Secondary played 1 yard off the line all night can't beleive wellston don't have a quick hitter to a Tightend in play book.

I may get booted for this and really i don't care. first off i wanna say hats off to the river valley players on the win. And they was some nice folks. But if every 1 really wants to pull their head's out of their as%s then they will admit THIS WAS THE WORST darn OFFICIATING GAME i have personally seen in a long time. every 1 always wants to say wellston is giving 14 at home well RV was giving atleast 9 at wellston lol which i mean 6 is still enough to win for RV but they would'nt have UP until 5 minutes left in the 4th RV had NO calls called against them whle wellston somehow got a flag EVERYTIME it was 3rd or 4th and 1 BULLSH%% Is what it was. anyhow GG rv and good luck the rest of the year and hopefully you all make a run into the playoff's and do good i will support you.
