Trail has to be kicking themselves stopped in the redzone 3 times. Snoodgrass played a heck of a game not sure why they stopped giving him the ball. Final 30-8 Cadets

Fort Frye is 7-0, and still a lot of room for improvement. They have come a long way since week one. This was very much a team win. Engle handled himself really well tonight. He has already surpassed his big brother for career wins at qb.

Agree. Their play calling was not sharp. With Cadet defenders crowding the line, it took 3 quarters before Trail took a shot down field - and scored a touchdown.

Casey Lewis has to be considered one of the better players in this league now has 12 tds in 7 games.

Interesting conclusion. I was at the game, sat in Trail's section for there were far more seats available. FF played man coverage the entire game. Trail took numerous shots downfield early and often. On the 30 going in the Trail QB rolled out to the right and just over shot the receiver in the end zone with what would have been the first score of the game. Threw something like 25+ passes, or at least that is what the paper here in Parkersburg said, and I assume that is far more than what Trail normally throws.

From where I was standing....most of Trails passes were to the flats on both sides of the field.
And most were well covered, drops, or for short gains.

Fair enough. I was just commenting on the statement that it took Trail 3 quarters to take a shot downfield. From where I was standing, in a trips set, when the number 3 receiver runs a post to the middle of the field and the QB throws it, that counts as taking "a shot downfield." Maybe I'm wrong, and believe me that I could not care less....I don't have a dog in this fight.
