Don't put this on the Big Ten
Yes the Big Ten is fine. Yes MSU should have beaten BC who was favored to win and it took every thing they had to come away with a victory. Let's no forget this was the what 7th ranked Big Ten team playing the ACC runner up. Wiscky has been banged up all season long. Hill has been out since about week 6 or 7 and Donnavon was beat up after the Michigan game, and they were underdog's in this one.
I don't know what game you were watching when UF and Michigan played but I watched Michigan fumble inside the 5 yard line twice and have a pass that went down to the 4 called back. Micigan should have beaten Florida as bad as they wanted to. The truth about this game is that Michigan was the underdog and won. If any thing the Michigan game brought credibility back to the Big Ten. UF is not the same team they were two years ago, but either is Michigan. Let's no forget that Michigan was a game away from playing in the national title and produced to rookies that went on to start and lead thier team's in tackles and interceptions respectively. So I will take a Michigan win over an SEC opponent whom should have beaten LSU. If you want to down play how good UF is, that is your own doing, but to have Percy Harvin, Tim Tebow, and company isn't too bad in my mind!

There you are again knocking OSU.Michigan has not represented the big ten very well as of late either, they finally won a bowl game!!!!!!!!WOOO HOOOO!Without OSU the big ten wouldn't even have been mentioned-that would be embarrassing. What is really embarrassing for the big ten is your spelling and grammar.
Hope no sec fans are reading this!Come talk when um actually beats OSU and gets a chance to play in the big game.

suck it up and admit that OSU blew it again
finally won a bowl game? OSU if they werent in the NC game last year which they got embrassed they would have been embrassed by USC in the rose bowl now the loss to Nebraska was embrassing
but see the main problem with all this is i cant say my opion without getting an idoit response from an osu fan because they know i like UM but hey guess what i dont think the world of michigan i know they have blown it in the past against OSU but they have NEVER lost back to back NC games(i know michigan has never been in that position) and they havent lost to the SEC 9 times
I respect OSU but i cant respect them too much if OSU fans are going to be ignorant and not get out of lah lah land where they are the best team and they own the big ten.
My honest to god belief of why osu didnt win is because they stopped running the ball and they didnt have a strong enough schedule to prep them for that game not even the UM game was good enough. stronger schedule against teams like LSU would have helped.
now try to respone and imagine that im not a UM and say something that is worth reading other than what about APPY state or 6-7

Everyone is acting like OSU got hammered, anyone who watched the game knows OSU had plenty of chances to come back.I will be the first to admit they blew it,BM55,I know you read the other threads about the game,so don't tell me to suck it up!!!!!! You are on a southeastern OHIO preps website, what kind of response are you expecting when you are on here saying that OSU EMBARRASSED THE BIG TEN.As far as being ignorant----I will defend my team as you would yours. Is that all OSU fans are going to hear?OSU lost back to back NC games-forget the fact they played good enough to get there. If um fans would get off of the sec trip-osu fans would get off of the appy state trip.I agree with you on the running game,LSU was plain and simple well prepared on both sides of the ball and it showed.OSU layed an egg and didn't step up when the opertunities were there.

osu did get hammered. the only reason the score was as close as it was, is because of an interception that was ran back to the 15 or so. osu even had to go for it on fourth down on that drive just to get 7. the last touchdown was after the game was over and lsu had already packed it in. so yeah, it was a blowout. dont let the score fool ya. osu got manhandled. yes they are young. bad play calling.
peake: right now i would say the big ten is somewhere between the mac and conference usa. sec, big 12, pac 10, maybe even acc are all better than the big ten.

osu outgained lsu in yardage, wouldnt exactly say manhandled. OSU lost because of stupid mistakes and poor execution.

qualiafied,
Yeah the Big Ten is somewhere around conferene USA, whatever. I have the previalge to actually cover conference USA for my profession, so no, it is nowhere near that bad.
Let me ask this, who puts the most players in the NFL?
1. Miami,Fl
2. OSU**********************
3. FSU
4. MICHIGAN*******************
5. Tennessee
So two Florida schools, two big ten powers, and finally an SEC school. The real indicator of talent, size, speed, athleticism, is being able to make it in the league, the BIg Ten smacks the SEC.
In 2006 the Big Ten was 3-1 vs the SEC, yet the only game that get's talked about is the NC.
Michigan put it on Florida, the same Florida that should have beaten the NC LSU Tigers. Michigan State took ACC runner up BC down to the final snap. That was teh 7th rnked team in the Big Ten vs the ACC#2. Wisconsin was teh Big Ten #4 taking on the SEC#2, and took them down to the final snap. Illinois did get it put on them, but so would have just about anyone going up against USC at home practically. PSU beat Texas A&M, the same A&M who beat Texas the last game of the season.
Here is an idea, why don't we start playing some cold weather bowls. Lets see USC start going North and playing in the cold instead of playing in thier own backyard everytime they play in the Rose Bowl. Lets see a Florida team travel North and play in Ann Arbor or Columbus. How about LSU not play a home game for the NC, instead lets go to Wisconsin and play teh NC. I am tired of teh Calli teams and Florida teams playing in their own back yards year after year!
