I'll start out by saying Symmes immediately has a 6 point advantage due to the nauseating drive out. So with that out of the way, Notre Dame is going to have to be more physical than they have been. They didn't move the ball much at all vs Oak Hill, which is something them and Symmes have in common vs Oak Hill.

Titans defense must stop them and give themselves better field position (can't start every drive inside the 20).

Titans have 3 great running backs, Kayser leading the way, but have got to pass the ball at some point. 98% runs and most of them the exact same 3-4 plays will naturally start getting stopped.

----

Symmes Valley will need to stop the 3 headed monster before they will see a pass in my opinion. And ND's backs are all hard runners (Collins being the bruiser, Johnson always seems to fall forward). Corners will need to contain and drive everything back into the middle or Kayser can bounce one outside and not many will catch him.

Should be a good one. Hope the referring is better than what it has been in the past out there.

Notre Dame 35
Symmes 21

I don't see ND scoring anywhere close to 35 in this contest .. ND has not had much success against SV the past 5 years with teams far better than this years unit . But I must admit those previous teams didn't have a 3 headed monster .

Against the same opponents they have had very similar scores. Hoping for a close hard fought game.

I agree, don't see ND scoring close to 35pts. especially if there is no passing game. Not going to be able to compete for a share of the conference without it as was quite evident against Oak Hill. Should be a close one but only if ND diversifies and keeps Symmes defense honest.

If the Vikings are able to win this game, they control their own destiny, playoff wise. So with something to play for, I look for Symmes Valley will play an intense defense and could cause some turnovers, especially if we get rain again this weekend.

The game being at Symmes Valley does not help the Titans cause, but if the Titans can spread the ball around and not turn it over, then they could essentially eliminate the Vikings playoff hopes.

And by the way, Congratulations to Symmes Valley's Coach Webb for winning his 100th game last week at Eastern.
