Besides Trimble Danville and Caldwell the other 5 teams that get in this region are in by default.

They lost to Nelsonville a rivalry game 20-26 after leading 20-7. Kids were gassed and out of shape. Now totally different team. The beat Belpre 34-0

Fisher could very well break in, they're playing very well after blunders in weeks 1 and 2.

I would be shocked if Fredericktown doesn't go 9-1, Danville was up 28-0 at half on them. Fredericktown plays Highland this week, would be the only game they would lose (Danville beat Highland in a scrimmage 6-1, and beat Ridgewood 35-0 in the preview for the first half). Crooksville who Danville just beat 35-0, is actually a really decent D6-D7 school, they beat Philo the week before, their record doesn't reflect that. In their league they play Tri-Valley, Maysville, and Sheridan just to name a few good large schools they have to play. Another tough week for Danville they play Loudonville, three of their losses are to Mogadore, Canton Central Catholic, and Lucas (Danville plays them next week).

kvnchambers wrote:this region is crazy. i think trimble, danville and caldwell is pretty good but not sure. but i think are locks for playoffs. harvest prep and belpre i think our securly in playoffs but not sure how good they are. the other 3 spots in this region i probably can find reason to think 10 teams have a case to make it in. there are a ton of teams that could go win out and the same teams i can make cases for losing out.

this was my first projection for this region after week 10..
1.danville 18.49
2.caldwell 15.10
3.trimble 14.82
4.harvest prep 13.75
5.belpre 12.80
6.st. john cent 11.95
7.miller 10.73
8.symmes valley 10.71
teams on outside
9.sciotoville 7.51
10.fisher catholic 7.30
11.southern 6.69
12.bridgeport 6.44

wont finish this way. this week will eliminate several teams
I assume with this projection you have trimble loosing to Alexander?

yes i do have trimble losing. don't really know who that game will go but know a little more about Alexander. i also made my spreadsheet for region 17 first 2 weeks ago and working for there. so to have a little consistency. any games i had already picked a winner for in region 17 i kept result the same here.
I really think right now alexander a little bit better they have really only played one horrible game and that was against Chesapeake with long delays. But trimble does have that winning tradition expect a close game.

St.Johns is out.I tink Belpre stays at 4,Prep at 5,Miller at 6, FC at 7,and Stemmes 8th ,Both 7 and 8 will probley end up 6-4 records.Trimble probley play Miller at home if they lose to Alex.Trimble has a good run stop Defense but pass not so good.As far as the Waterford game every team has a bad game and that was their's.Should have been 40-0 but 3 broken plays gave up 3 score's and offense wasn't on and that's what made it look close.Miller and Belpre was blow outs.Trimble hopes that they can hang on to number 1 and let Danville and Caldwell beat up on each other and play the winner for Region championship.I know it's a long shot but possible.

Simple theory:
If Trimble beats Alexander they get the 1 and play in the Regional Finals
If they lose, they get the 3 and will watch Caldwell vs Danville in the Finals

Seems likely that this is the case. Would love to see Caldwell vs Danville in the Regional Final Game. I would like to see Trimble beat Alexander but would rather see them play Caldwell or Danville before the Regional Finals.

Trimble is an outstanding football program, no disrespect to them, I typically hope they win just about every game, but I hope they drop the game to Alexander because the two best teams in the region are Danville and Caldwell and I hope they play in the regional final and not the second round. That said, I also hope that Caldwell gets the #1 seed because I don't want my Redskins to have to play Trimble in the second round either. This is a three team race, nobody else in the region can prevent a running clock with the top three if they are on their game.

Looks like the prison guys were wrong again as Caldwell goes down to the Cadets.

Oh don't even go there about my buddies at the prison. That's poor sportsmanship. They were wrong, but who really cares. They are my buds. I won't blame the officials but if you think you watched a evenly called game then you are nuts.
