Its a definite win and in. Lose and you're going to do a LOT of scoreboard watching.
That is the consequences of scheduling as they did. Like Palapud said, you can dodge competition by having a schedule filled with smaller schools so you have a good record and not make the playoffs, or make it and get throttled. Or you can schedule tough teams your own size from other areas and build a better program. Logan chose the former and may miss the playoffs because of it. So the "Pali" was finally right about something.

I dont agree with this at all. Logan is in a situation that the last 3 games are against a very good nonleague team and 2 teams within their own league that are having bad years. How is that their fault? Once again look at the schedule for the 167th time. Logan has 3 teams within their own league on the schedule which are teams they cannot change. Jackson is 6-1. After that you have a d3 state runner up in 2015 who was 30-0 regular season at one point, a D3 playoff power and former state champion in DeSales, a rival of over 30 years who traditionally is a playoff team and another smaller school who has had a history of success and playoff runs but together have a combined record of 2-12; a D2 Teays Valley team that made the playoffs last year and stands 5-2 now; Cambridge who is new to the schedule and Meigs who is 5-2. How exactly is this Logan's fault??? You have 2 teams who have always been in the playoffs having bad years and two league teams having even worse years?? Last time I checked you can only control your own destiny not somebody else's?? I fail to see how this is the consequences of scheduling your league teams, three traditional playoff contenders, a D2 school on the rise, a team with great success over the last 4 seasons and former league member, a 5-2 Meigs team and Cambridge who was D3 and dropped to D4 this year after the schedule was made 2 years ago??!?!?! I am baffled by this logic.

noreply66 is this information off of your SEOAL History website not correct?

It indicates that Wellston left after the 1981 season (note 9). Which is 30+ years ago, or is the SEOAL History page not right? I recall it being about this time period, mid 1980's or so. Guess my history is as good as my English.

Cue the emoji's.

Any update on McBride from the Logan posters? Will he be able to go this week against DeSales?

I still have yet to see the Paladin scouting report which makes this game difficult to pick not knowing too much about DeSales.

Only thing we know for certain according to Paladin is that Logan is "big and bad". I assume he has chosen to share his report only with the coaching staff and not make it public, very secretive stuff, good thinking not wanting to let DeSales know that he knows what to do. He is a clever one that Paladin, give him some credit.

In the blind without a report from Paladin I will go 35-7.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, LoganFootball.com will not have a broadcast tonight.

We have worked with the folks at www.pouringpurple.com this week. Tom Snyder does a great job there calling the game.

Will keep you updated through twitter as always. Thanks for all the great feedback we've gotten so far this season!

NBC 4 this morning did their Friday morning kick-off show from Alumni Stadium at St. Francis DeSales at 5AM with students, band etc.

I have listened to Snyder before on pouringpurple.com when he has broadcast some of their baseball games, and he does a fine job. So no doubt his football broadcast will be equally impressive. Only a hint of bias in his commentary he does a good job at being familiar with the opponent so Logan fans tuning in will enjoy.

If you go to the website now they have a nice piece up and running on the game where they interview DeSales HC Wiggins and his DC. Both are wary about Little's ability to extend plays...speaking from experience that is a good thing to be worried about lol.

Good luck to the Chiefs tonight and a quick recovery to McBride.

You are drunk on shine moon. Only two teams have scored 20+ points on DeSales this year and I don't think Logan will be the third team to do so.
