Wk 7: Fort Frye 36 @ Barnesville 0 Final
The Shamrocks have a game tonight at Steubenville Central Catholic.
Week 7 game will be a rematch of last years 42-19 win by the Cadets in the regional Semi @ Marietta College. Probably still a little bad blood from that game in this one.

I’ve only seen the facilities never watched a game there. They have a really cool painted water tower by the school.

Tate Engle comes in (25-1) in the reg season at QB and (27-3) if you count the playoffs.

Does FF have any sort of a running game? If so: Fort with a running clock.
Barnesville is a very nice facility. One of the nicest grass fields around. Parking is a little tricky, so arrive early. The stadium is not next to the high school, but is off SR-800.

Can’t find stats from last nights game other then the varsity offense only played 19 plays scored 4 Tds.wagner97 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2017 2:00 pm Does FF have any sort of a running game? If so: Fort with a running clock.

Going into Wk 5 Fort had 3 rushers combining for over 200 yards a game. Rushing is the strength but Engle also can fling it. 6-4 Jesse McCleod is starting to dominate catching a 90 Yard Td and 18 Yard Td last night. The team is def getting better weekly.

'Tis all I need to hear. Barnesville struggles against the run. So far this year have given up 300+ yards in a game to two "feature" backs. Not sure what they did against Riverview (run wise). They play Steubenville Catholic tonight - who is said to have a decent team.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2017 2:39 pmCan’t find stats from last nights game other then the varsity offense only played 19 plays scored 4 Tds.wagner97 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2017 2:00 pm Does FF have any sort of a running game? Contain their QB and that's it.

Yea isn’t Campbell the QB from Barnesville a freshman? I’m shocked the game is even being played. 1 Barnesville has said they don’t want in the PVC because if they didn’t want to play the Fort. 2. Last year in the playoff game 2 Rock players started a fight during the game and got ejected. These teams don’t like each other.

Shamrock Field is pretty easy to find. Take SR-800/S exit off of I-70. About 8 miles into town. As you come into town the entrance to the stadium will be on your right. There is small sign on the right that points you in the direction. As I said, parking is a bit limited (and tight) so may want to arrive early.
