As we head into week 6 and the 1st week of conference play in the FAC, I thought it would be neat to see who Cal-Preps predict to win the FAC. granted, I know that there is little stock in that website.....that's why we play the game. Also, I'm looking at this conference because I'm a Washington Court House Alum.......I moved to Gallipolis 10 yrs. ago.


1.) Jackson 5-0
2.) Chillicothe 4-1
3.) Hillsboro 3-2
4.) Washington 2-3
5.) Miami Trace 1-4
6.) Greenfield McClain 0-5


I definitely think the 5 and 6 spots will be Miami Trace and Greenfield.

3 and 4 spots will likely be filled with Hillsboro and Washington but will just depend on who beats who in that game

1 and 2 spots will likely be filled with Jackson and Chillicothe but will just depend on who beats who in that game

I will say Jackson and Chillicothe will need to be uber careful around Hillsboro and WCH......they could pull an upset at anytime and they do have the players to do it!

Also according to Cal-Preps the FAC Champion is decided by 5 points. again just fun to look at who they predict, as crazy as it is this is exactly how I expect the conference to play out even before I looked at all of this.

Jackson will struggle with chilly. They have a very athletic quarterback who can move in the pocket and is a very good runner.
He can beat you with his arm.
Very nice team who has played a very rugged early season schedule to prepare them for this game.

Chillicothe has always had a very strong dislike for Jackson in a positive was going all the way back to when I played little cavs ball in the early 2000s. The games are always hard fought and competitive. Jackson baring a few bad apples the seemed to love throwing the N Word around on the field has always been a great environment week 10 will be rocking. I look for and 8-1 vs 7-2 matchup for a playoff spot and the first league title ! FAC Rivalry week

Im very excited for the Chillicothe matchup. The last few meetings have been decided within 7 points. As long as it plays out, both teams seniors will have their first and last league title hanging in the balance. The atmosphere will be electric and both teams will leave it all out on the field. I have to go with my Ironmen though! Both teams have to put the work in to make it happen in a few weeks!
