I agree, if they get some good runs on west, which I don't see happening much because west has a very good run D from what I've saw, then it will make the RPO difficult to defendMasterOfNone wrote: Fri Oct 13, 2017 10:08 am I think the key for Waverly tonight is to get the run game going, if they are able to do that I don't think they will have a problem putting points on the board as long as they don't turn the ball over. If Kritzy is able to pick up good yards, it makes the RPO so hard to defend.

In both of Waverly's losses thus far, they have had less than 100 yards rushing.

After watching Waverly vs NY. I would say for them to be in this game they must get #11 going in the running game and protect #6 and they have a shot. If not it could be a long night for the Tigers.
Good luck and hope for an injury free game.

What type of offense does West run? Idk if anyone has said on here before, I might have just missed it. I think I saw where someone had said they were more run than pass, but I'm not sure

I don’t think Wavery plays defense well enough to win against West. If West can’t stop Waverly it’ll be a shootout but I still believe that West will win.

That is huge for the Tigers! Idk if they are 100% or not, but with Jordan even being on the field offensively gives West another weapon to worry about.

Re: WK 8 SOC 2: Waverly (5-2) vs. Portsmouth West (7-0)
Only a few hours away from kickoff.. I look for this one to be a good game! The Tigers will be coming in as the underdog and hopefully they will use that as extra motivation. I know the boys will be hungry for a W, especially after taking a loss like they did last week. But they have nothing to be ashamed of, they just need to come out, play hard, and minimize their mistakes and they should be fine. West is a solid team and this would be a huge victory for Waverly if they can make it happen.

29 minutes till kick off! Let's get it going!
Re: WK 8 SOC 2: Waverly (5-2) vs. Portsmouth West (7-0)
Halftime score
West 14
Waverly 7
Missed tackles have killed the tigers. Personally I think it's an even game. Neither team has shown to be better than the other. All in all it's been a good game to watch. Ready for the second half!

How’s Waverly’s “weak” offensive line doing?
