IT LOOKS AS THE FIGHTING TIGERS WILL DROP WAY BELOW 9TH, AND LIKELY THUS MISS ANY RUN AT POSTSEASON PLAY AS THE COAL GROVE HORNETS ARE HITTING THE FIGHTING TIGERS IN THE MOUTH, AND CURRENTLY UP 28-7. AND THE FIGHTING TIGERS TRAVEL TO THE FRENCH CITY TO PLAY A MUCH IMPROVED BLUE DEVIL SQUAD NEXT WEEK BEFORE FINISHING AT HOME WITH THE MUCH IMPROVED PORTSMOUTH TROJANS.AND ALL IN ALL LIKELIHOOD THIS WILL BE THE 1ST YEAR OF THE 3 THAT THE FIGHTING TIGERS HAVE BEEN IN THE OVC THSAT THEY DON'T GO UNSCATHED THROUGH LEAGUE PLAY AND WINNING THE OVC.SO WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A NEW LEAGUE CHAMPION THIS YEAR. IT LOOKS AS THOUGH IRONTON WILL COME INTO THIS GAME WITH THE BLUE DEVILS AT 4-4. AND THE HORNETS WILL BE ROMPIN AROUND HORNET LAND AT 7-1.

so ironton will come into week 9 @ 4-4, and the blue devils will be 3-5. once 2 very proud programs grasping at lifelines. wow is all I can say.

Good point, but the Blue Devils have come off of three abysmal seasons, so 3-5 is already a great improvement.

Ironton will win this going away. The last two weeks have been difficult for the blue without the transfer. Best of luck to both teams. Tigers will just be too much.

Gallia needs to start out and play the football they played late last night. With the injuries they need to do some changes and it looks like they did in their near come back to win last night.

I know it is not what they want to do as a program but if they want any chance against ironton. They need to open up the offense from the first series. I hate the thought of mccellend throwing the ball 50 to 60 times but if you want to win next week I think that is your game plan.

Blue Devils have several receivers hard to cover man to man. And they all are beginning to understand how to sit in openings in a zone.

Defensively blue Devils just can't stop anyone consistently so if the Devils want to win I think they probably need 6 touchdowns
