The beauty of it is - most people in Athens don't really care what is thought of em. Wins, league championships, playoff appearances and most importantly, crowded stands on Friday nights. That's been the norm for quite some time now. Big fish, little fish, medium fish, dolphin, who the heck cares. Compared to where this program was 15years ago - most Athens fans are tickled to death where its at now.

I don't remember anyone saying they would win state this year. I remember people talking about the Bucks having a shot to win the region.......
Our boys are playing one week at a time. This game is the most important game of the season til week 11 then week 11 will be and so on....
It's high school football so you never know what will happen week to week.
I think we have a shot to make a run but I don't play the game and it's not up to me. It's on the coaching staff and our young men. We will go however far we go and I'll be proud of them.

What's delusional about it??? I went last Friday and watched coldwater v Anna. Honestly coldwater is way way down. They held Marion to 14. Ny is better than coldwater.. ny can compete. You're just sad because your d3 school can't hang with a d6 school..
