Field should be dried up by gameday. Also the 2 guards are great at pulling they owned Shenandoah last week.ovfootball wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 10:50 pm It looks like your guards are smaller, but they pull and block well. I will be shocked if either team wins by more than a score..barn-burner on tap in Beverly!
On a side note, what is the condition of your field?

With it raining all day the field actually might get sloppy Friday night.

I’d agree with that. Maybe the Cadets should hose the field down haha that is joke.JoeyRamone wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 3:07 pm forecast looks dry for thurs and fri. hopefully it dries out. a fast track favors SCC, id think.

You plan to mix up a nice concoction of mud soup? I now see how Beverly rolls. If team A is faster on turf, aren't they still faster on grass? Never quite subscribed to field playing surfaces being a big deal.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 5:37 pmI’d agree with that. I will say, that your offense is a point 'A' to 'B' no nonsense style team. I don't see a lot of fancy things going on....just A to B expeditiously. With that said, I can see how unfavorable field conditions could better suit FF. Should SCC expect 7 inch grass and knee deep mud? ha ha. It will be a great playoff type environment and may the better team win...with no injuries, for either team, going into week 11. Given the distance, I hope SCC shows up with some fan support.

Thanks to both you and EasternDspy for the suggestions. I must say that people down your way are very polite and humble. No trash talking from anyone and that's appreciated. After all, it's a game played by young men and it's satisfying to see that you too keep that in prospective. We all look forward to the visit. We know FF has a proud tradition and we're eager to test your team.enigmaax wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 9:05 pmThis is a must.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2017 10:57 pm

Don't you think it's hilarious when "message board guy" talks a bunch of nonsense when he doesn't even work the concession stand, much less wear a uniform?ovfootball wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2017 9:23 pmThanks to both you and EasternDspy for the suggestions. I actually took in a FF game earlier this year, they can hang with SCC. I will take the Cadets.

I have to go with the Crusaders in this one...by a TD. I feel like SCC's QB and that beast of a line in front of him will be the difference. That quarterback is fast. Like, fastest kid on the field fast. He's a lot of fun to watch when he gets loose.
Re: WK 10: Steubenville CC (7-2) @ Fort Frye (8-1)
Your GPS will probably tell you to come across SR 339 to get here. Instead, consider coming to Exit 6, cross Ahrens Ridge, and take SR 60 into Beverly. It is slightly longer, but much straighter and goes directly to the high school.
