efarns, I agree with you. I thought the Cadets had a great chance in this game, never said that they didn't, and they proved it tonight. Very happy for all the folks up in Beverly. And yes, I agree, good game, get ready for week 11. Totally different level of competition from this point on.

SCC came in a running team after being stopped on the first couple tries they abandoned the run. They probably 6-28 or something like that. WRs we’re open the QB just kept overthrowing his WRs. Cadets stopped the Crusaders on 7 straight drives before they even got a first down. Cadets showed tonight that they have a passing game to go with the great running game.

Coming in, I knew a couple of guys, like Henniger, were fast. Tonight, I was impressed by how quick Fort Frye's secondary players were. This is not a slow team.

Southeastern has not made playoffs in a long time. It’s a really long drive but I don’t think a terrible matchup.

Shadyside does have some big time players Banco being one of them.

I expected this game to swing 7 points either direction. What did Fort do well? What did SCC not do?

Run. Fort Frye was able to get their running game going. There was a big run on a jet sweep that set up the first score. Then a big punt return set up the second. An INT set up the third, and suddenly it was 24-0.

SCC has a speedy stable of receivers. They felt like they could exploit The Cadet secondary, but they couldn't connect. The windows were a bit tight and the throws were off.

The teams went from exchanging punts in the first quarter to a 24-0 spread in less than 5 min. Once that happened, it was going to be real tough to come back.
