Nick Miller is a stud but I don’t think he’s close to 100 %. Boone Jones is an athletic QB that can make plays to his WRs Sherman and Hunter Graham. If healthy I think they can make this a game. They can be had up the middle as Fort Frye ran for 300 yards vs them in Week 9. Not the biggest team by no means. What does Coal Grove bring? I know they are a power team. Got any stats?

I don’t, I’ve only been to one CG game and they were primarily power. #34 Kimo (spelling?) Baldwin was a man amongst boys. This game is similar to Barnesville @ Chesapeake last year. Long trips can sometimes help the road team

I’ll more than likely go to this one. Smallest school in the OVC and only one that made the playoffs

Still think it’s ridiculous that all games are on Friday. Otherwise it would make a lot of fans decisions easier

Excited to see Coal Grove back in the playoffs. The defense has been playing great lately. I’m excited to see how the hornets perform against a quality team from out of the area. Should be a good one. I see Coal Grove using that power run game and using the clock.

Sucks that all games are on Fridays. I would love to go watch The Grove win this week. I have family there so I guess they can keep me updated while I'm watching Burg decimate another opponent. 9 out of 10 running clocks agree...BURG IS THE WORD!!! Make a deep run Hornets.

What does Coal Grove have.

Coal Grove has a very talented group of kids with a lot of speed all over the field. Their defense has been fantastic all season anchored on the line by one of the strongest kids in the state #77 and a tough as nails linebacker in #34.

Their offense can beat you with power or speed. Speed with #12 being a state qualifier in 100 meter dash last year as a sophomore, and power with #34 fullback that often drags 2-3 guys with him. Can't leave out a very talented QB #8. Spreads the ball out well to all his receivers and when they are covered can beat you with his feet. He's prob the best all around athlete on the team.

I believe the last time Shenandoah made the playoffs, they defeated the pirates in the second round back in 2003.
Will this be the first time grove has ever hosted a first round playoff game?
