28-8 coal grove. This defense is playing lights out right now , and the offense has found there rhythm. It'll be hard for anyone to score on these kids

From what I’ve seen on Shenandoah, I think Coal Grove will win this one without a problem. See it being a two touchdown game. The only thing that scares me out of Coal Grove is the best wins we have.. is Fairland (6-4), Gallia (5-5), Portsmouth (5-5). It may just be me, but I’m concerned that Coal Grove only has 1 win against a team with a winning record. But the OVC was much improved this year than the last couple. So we’ll see. Either way, great season so far Grovers! Can’t beat a 9-1 season and OVC championship. Hoping for a decent playoff run! Go Big Grove!

Yep. 2009,2010,2012 were all away games for the Grove in the first round. Beofre 2009, the last time Coal Grove made playoffs was 1996. I’m honestly not sure if the OHSAA allowed home playoff games back then. It was before my time.

For the Grove to win they need to come out with fire tomorrow night, if they play like they have the past couple of weeks this game may get away from them. Defense has to step up from the start, 3 and out the entire night.
