Yea, SE doesn't like to pass, but they can. A lot of people forget or don't realize that this is the first year for SE as a double wing team. They were more of a spread team last year, so they have that in the playbook. They scored a big TD at the end of the 1st half against Unioto when they went spread and moved the ball down the field quickly. If Ruby was taller, they would be a really good passing team, unfortunately his size causes them to have to move the pocket, and he makes a lot of throws on the run.

The td passes against unioto is what im talking about. seen it on gridiron glory lol

i presume the Chillicothe game will be on the 1350 station. any ideas to who might broadcast this one? im assuming to steubenville stations will not travel to the game since they can all line up to broadcast the same big red game on 3 stations

I would guess that 94.3 WKKJ will either have this one or Unioto, but I can't find a broadcast schedule on their site.

I've seen several mentions of SCC's speed, so I feel like I have to offer up that SE is not strictly a power team. Ruby (QB/CB) and Brown (TE/S) are also track stars. I believe Ruby qualified for state in the long jump, and Brown just missed going in the same event. Houser(WB/CB) is probably one of the fastest backs in the SVC.

Does that mean they matchup well with SCC? We'll all find out on Friday, but I didn't want everyone thinking that SE has a roster full of plodders.

Y'all earned the honor! WKKJ follows the SVC Champions first in all other sports, so they'll be covering all of the Panthers postseason games.

Looks like from CC's schedule minus Fort Frye who has a very good defense and South Harrison (WV) who finished 8-1. Neither of these teams have really beat anyone, the Unioto game probably Southeasterns biggest win and that was a game where Unioto had what 22 penalties and turned the ball over going in for the win. Seen Southeastern play have thought their defense was very suspect with the travel and CC struggles on grass I'll take Southeastern in this one. This is one that I could see going either way though. I just hope they're not overlooking CC based on some of the statistics ppl are throwing out there. Good Luck to Southeastern represent SEO well.

I can't imagine SE overlooking anyone. This isn't a perennial playoff program that sees playoff caliber teams on a yearly basis. It'll be interesting to see how these two teams matchup when they take the field.

Agreed. Southeastern's AD did announce last night that we will not be charging the $3.00 parking fee that the OHSAA allows.
