Not even close. Withrow was about 50 points from competing for a state title that year. WW, LaSalle, and Hoban have D1 defense's. Hopefully this is just 35-7 and not a 77-0 thrashing

Yeah, bad analogy to the referenced 2004 game, this isn't similar at all. Tough draw for Chillicothe, playing very possibly the D2 state champions. WW or LaSalle has to be the favorites at this point I would think. Region 8 LaSalle and WW regional final should be a great game, we will see if WW can beat them twice in one year.Raider6309 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2017 12:37 pmNot even close. Agreed with all of the above. Winton Woods and Lasalle could compete and possibly come out of D1 in Cincinnati. St X might be better but I don't think by much.
Rate the top 5 in Cincinnati regardless of division and WW and Lasalle would be in there --- possibly at 2 and 3 ... and that's scary for The other D2 teams in this Region

My bad raider and abe. Sorry for commenting. Sorry you didn’t see the word “some” and sorry I sounded so adamant.
It was a simple comment. Big Cincy school a heavy favorite over a SE district school that no one is giving a chance.
I’ll refrain from my ridiculous analogies from here on out.

Dang, sorry Ironman. Keep the ridiculous analogies coming, they are no more non-ridiculous than mine. WW is just very very good this year.
Re: Round 1 Playoffs DII , R8 #7 (8-2) Chillicothe @ #2 (9-1) Winton Woods
The Good news is When you play a team like Winton Woods the d1 scouts will be sure to be in attendance so if nothing else kids from Chillicothe will be able to spark some interests ! That's exactly how I got recruited had no offers at all we played a top tear team and I played my best game against a Defensive end going to UCLA and some offers came if your a Chillicothe player you have to go in with no fear and nothing to lose !
Re: Round 1 Playoffs DII , R8 #7 (8-2) Chillicothe @ #2 (9-1) Winton Woods
Hopefully, the Chillicothe playoff team that played Hamilton Township in 2016 will show up and not the team that faced DeSales in 2015.
Re: Round 1 Playoffs DII , R8 #7 (8-2) Chillicothe @ #2 (9-1) Winton Woods
On paper, this one shouldn't be close. WW and LaSalle Round 2 will be the Regional final here.

Winton Woods is significantly better. That's not a slap to Chillicothe it's just crazy how good this D2 team is. And the fact there's another comparable team in this Region --lasalle --- is crazy too.
I just hope Chillicothe comes through healthy. Truly.

Crazy Winton Woods scored 28 points in the 1st quarter on Moeller before the heavy rain set in. That sophomore running back will be a 4 or 5 star recruit by his senior year. Already has offers from Kentucky and Toledo

In talking to the staff and players Chillicothe truly believes they can shock the state tomorrow night. Hinton wants his first playoff win at Chillicothe and this senior class believes they can do it ! There is something about Truly believing in yourself. All that being said Chillicothe will have to take shots and execute perfectly for them to compete in this one. I look for it to be much closer than the experts think WW 42-21

Didn't you say you played at Chillicothe from 2006-2009?Ohio1234 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 12:47 pm In talking to the staff and players Chillicothe truly believes they can shock the state tomorrow night. This group at Winton Woods is similar to the Troy Everhart led group in 2009. Dominique Brown, Jeremiah Goins, Cory Webber, Glover, Hollins, Cunnigham and Bradley. If things play out, the LaSalle rematch in week 13 will be a classic!!!

What is parking like? Concessions?
Local eateries around the area? will be making the trip as usual. Regardless of prediction these kids earned the right to play week 11.
