Illegal formations, no calls on obvious River penalties, illegal plays, phantom calls against Lucas....total biased officiating. Neutral field, Lucas wins with a running clock. As for the Cubs, they have 2 great upperclassman RBs (Grover and Hauger) and a tall, accurate and athletic QB (Niswander) with a cannon. Kid threw 90mph on the pitchers mound last year as a 15 year old Freshman. The Lucas offense combined with their home field advantage will be too much for the Tomcats. My prediction: Lucas 38, Trimble 20.
In my opinion this may be a first team to 20 wins type of game. Trimble likes to run the ball and eat up clock, and they also have a pretty solid run defense

You may be right on that. Lucas D is super young. Their O has a lot of upperclassmen, but their D looked inexperienced.

Look at this way, on your trip you get to experience Trimble playing a team outside of the TVC for the first time in 23 games..
Good to see you still posting Ground Chucky. With the obituary someone posted on another thread I thought maybe they got rid of you, but they can't get all you names can they. Keep up the good work out at the Nelsonville library.

Yep...Binary you caught me. I registered this account 11 years ago, made 500+ posts over the years just so I use it to post a line on a trimble thread. Good job Sherlock Holmes.

Thanks for admitting it. But really, sorry if I'm mistaken but your post seems so similar to the smart a$$ ones that guy makes with various usernames degrading players, teams, coaches and schools that I figured it was the same person. ;)

Well I have to butt in and say that waterford had almost 300 yards rushing against Trimble. BB had 202 and Teddy snith had 60. About 35 came from stephens.

That was early in the year when these young guys were still figuring it out. Much different team than they were then.

FYI.....for trimble fans making the trip, Lucas has very small visitor seating. But there is no fence on the sidelines only a rope so you can pretty much stand right behind the players on the sideline. Also, cell service is spotty at best.

If the game were played today .. I believe NY would put a running clock on the Tomcats.
