Both Maysville and Philo are good possibilities. Zanesville will be used for bigger schools right now I thinkNYBuckeye96 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2017 11:22 pm Both teams are about equal distance from Zanesville. Zanesville, Maysville and Philo all have turf.

Athens will probably get East vs River. Nothing between those two.
This and Trimble will probably be in the zanesville area

The Buckeyes will show up to play anywhere.......
We will play in a gravel parking lot full of glass if we have to.
Championship's are won in the off-season

After looking at the scores, I would agree these are the two top teams in the region. Nelsonville has to be the heavy favorite.

Re: Round 2 D6 region 23 Fort Frye @ Nelsonville-York (site to be determined)
Nelsonville should be a heavy favorite they’ve been the best team in region all year. Just posting facts Fort Frye varsity D has allowed 61 points all year.
Fort Frye 26
Shenandoah 8
Fort Frye dominated the whole game ran for 300 yards.
Coal Grove 7
Shenandoah 6
Fort Frye 49
Steubenville Central 13
Fort Frye lead 43-6 at half and 49-6 in 3rd when they put in backups.
Southeastern 44
Steubenville Central 40
Like I said I think Nelsonville is the best team but I think Fort Frye is the 2nd best team and shouldn’t be under estimated.
Gridiron Glory kinda dissed Fort Frye because they only scored 6 points tonight. Failed to mention that they held a 2500 yard rusher to 87 yards on 31 carries.

Looks like this could be a good game. NY has more than 1 weapon unlike northmore. They have 3 backs who can all take it to the house any play. They also have a QB that can throw to many different receivers who have a lot of speed. Not to mention NY has a pretty good defense and kicking game. I know FF has a good program as NY does. Can't wait to take this one in. might be the 2 best teams in the region. Friday night we will find out.

Fort Frye has one of the best LBs in the region in Tyler Bradford kids a tank. Just a player to keep your eye inf kid plays with with so much heart.

You have Wheelersburg vs Columbus Academy ... River vs Sciotoville ... Portsmouth West vs Johnstown-Monroe ... all possible landing spots for Athens.
I don't see NY vs Fort ending up there.
My best guess is Philo or Maysville.

Heard new lex mentioned several times
Re: Round 2 D6 region 23 Fort Frye @ Nelsonville-York (site to be determined)
They should keep it where the road is the best. NY to Marietta might be longer for them but road travel would be the best. Athens would be longer for FF but road is the best.

Philo won - so I doubt if they host.

Not trying to disrespect Fort Frye, but to be honest I look for NY to win this game pretty comfortably.
My Prediction is NY by no less than 21 points. But could very easily win by alot more than 21 points.
In gonna say:
NY - 42
FF - 14

Just because you say your not trying to disrespect doesn’t mean you didn’t just do that. I think you need to do a little more research. Fort Frye has only allowed 61 varsity points all season 2 Tds since halftime of Waterford week 3. Fort Frye has not allowed more then 21 points in a game all season and that was week 1. Fort Frye has played its best football at the end of the year beating 3 straight playoff teams. Buckeyes might win but it won’t be 42-14.
