6-0 was the final. The JEEPS were up against a phenomenal team (state champion caliber). For the first 20 minutes the JEEPS were right in the game. They got in behind the Bobcats 4 times and should've scored but came up short. In big games against monster opponents you've gotta finish those opportunities. If the JEEPS could've struck first I think the game could've gone differently. SW had a good game plan of being defensively minded and counter attacking but just failed to stick with marks in the final third. They gave up 2-3 poor quality goals that they will have to learn from. The JEEPS had an amazing crowd that never gave up. Shout out to SW lone senior #12 Thompson! Great career! Don't worry this team will be back next year and be even better! Gview loses 11 seniors this year so a closer rematch might be in the making for 2018! Good luck to the Bobcats and great season JEEPS!

Great season for the Jeeps. This group learned a great deal today and that can only help them for next year

2nd Elite 8 appearance in School History and winning is contagious and hopefully rolls over to hoops.

It will be interesting to see what Heights does with the Cincinnati juggernaut --- they won 2-0 today after winning 1-0 in the Regional Semis. Perhaps they are beatable this year?

Congrats to the Jeeps on a great year. Hoping Grandview Heights can knock Summit Country Day off and win state. Really believe next year's Webster team may be the school's best chance to get to State given what they have returning. But they gonna have to work hard to get back to this spot and then get over the Central District hump.*

Absolutely! Only graduating one senior the Jeeps have a real shot next year. Summit has 9 seniors this year and Grandview has 11 so those squads will have some major shoes to fill. If SW improves and takes major strides forward LOOK OUT in 2018!
