Columbus Academy did not do anything this year that makes them a favorite against Burg. They went 8-2 and 2-2 against teams which made the playoffs. All 4 of those teams were kicked to the curb in Week 11.

Belmont Union who Academy defeated 13-6 in Week 11 wasn't a buzz saw either. They only played 3 playoff teams in the regular season and went 1-2 against them and those 3 teams were beaten in Week 11.

If Academy was that talented and special they would be 11-0 and would have smoked their first round opponent.

Burg shows up and plays their A or B game and doesn't have a turnover fest ( like Coshocton) then I look for them to come away with a 28-7 type win.

Ok --- I don't think I made excuses. Every game has a story. Coshocton could have forced all of those turnovers or some could have been sloppy play. Whatever the case the turnovers are part of the story. It is what it is.

I believe if Burg shows up and plays well then Academy can't beat them. Period. I hope that's more clear.

And I'm fine with the fact that you don't believe that. Doesn't make me think you're crazy or a bad person. We just might disagree.
