I would guess Jackson would be the location. Looking at scores this could be a great match up. Go Bucks.

The sign over the the high school main entrance says Dawson-Bryant High School. Their school bus fleet says Dawson-Bryant on the side. The sign in front of the elementary school says Dawson-Bryant Elementary. Diplomas that graduates receive say Dawson-Bryant on them.
Evidence seems to indicate they are Dawson-Bryant.

The town is called Coal Grove and the school system is called Dawson-Bryant. They are the Coal Grove Dawson-Bryant Hornets or just Coal Grove Hornets for short.Half Slice wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2017 8:07 am The sign over the the high school main entrance says Dawson-Bryant High School. Sorry they are a village not a town. But the more important issue is NY better getting ready for a TOUGH game!! I'll take the Hornets by 7.

I think for Coal Grove to win
The passing game has to be even better than last week and #34 has to step his game up even more on defense.

Re: Coal Grove vs. Nelsonville-York
Location, Waverly and Jackson has the same amount of drive time for Coal Grove and is little closer to Jackson for NY. The state does like using Jackson as a host and could very well again here, especially with it being for the regional championship and the seating capacity Jackson has and overall location. Someone mentioned OH, sorry just don't think OH can hold them all at this point in the playoffs. Prediction game 80% chance Jackson gets the game and 20% chance Waverly gets it. OH 0%. I've been wrong before, once I think LOL.

Hmmm by that logic Rock Hill is referred to as Ironton Rock Hill by the OHSAA. Ask anyone out Pedro way if they want to be known as the Ironton Redmen for short.

Why are are you pressing this issue? We're the Coal Grove Hornets. Your question has been answered, more than once.Half Slice wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2017 8:35 am Hmmm by that logic Rock Hill is referred to as Ironton Rock Hill by the OHSAA. Exactly!! He is just trying to deflect the fact that Coal Grove is going to send NY home bruised and beaten.Buckeyefan55 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2017 8:41 amWhy are are you pressing this issue? BuckeyeFan55 - I didn’t ask the original question about the name. ArmChairQb posed it.
They can call themselves anything they want. The only issue I see is it seems like a missed chance to fully honor the fallen World War I veterans (Homer Dawson and Curtis Bryant) the district is named in memory of. Seems fitting to honor their sacrifice fully.
Happy Veterans Day!

Hey everyone....look its the smartest guy on this thread. Maybe on the whole site! Still doesn't want to talk about the loss that is about to be handed to NY by the Hornets.Half Slice wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2017 8:52 am BuckeyeFan55 - I didn’t ask the original question about the name. Proud_Pirate63 - Sorry you don’t share my passion for our nations veterans.
I like NY by a score of 24-21 in a physical game. Cg can easily win. It’s that close!
How would the Hornets fare against Wheelersburg?

I think either d6 R23 regional finalist would have the same fate against wheelersburg.Half Slice wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2017 9:19 am Proud_Pirate63
