Some idiot from Wheelersburg will yet again predict a running clock

Doubtful clown!!! Like I said on the Madison game thread no true Burg fan was predicting a running clock.
So what makes a "True" Burg fan??? LOL
Every game thread this year about Burg there are idiots "from Burg" predicting a running clock. Not sure if they were "true" fans or not, but it has been said. Just a safe bet that and idiot will do it again.
it's not idiot fans. it's our fans bein confident in our team. our numbers from every game speaks for it's self. as for this game i highly doubt u will see any of our fans predicting a running clock. u have two 14-0 teams playin in the state finals. one ranked number one in D5 and the other ranked number three. too quote good ole jr jim ross. this is gonna be a good ole fashion slobber knocker. as for the posts i highly doubt they are burg fans

I want the Burg and have picked them since seeing the regions but in this game, if they do not play their best game to date, this one could get ugly by the half. Before the troll word is thrown here, let me make it clear I WANT THE BURG.

I don’t understand why everyone thinks that. Burg has been a run stop defense all year and the last two games they have held teams that were averaging over 350 yards on the ground to less than 130 yards TOTAL. Eastwood best not take this Burg team lightly.

You sir are not a troll. You actually support SEO football where as paladin has never gave SEO football any respect. Not the first time he has trolled a Burg thread. He just needs to stay off of Burg threads and let us SEO fans enjoy our glory.

I think, and this is just talking to fans around the state that Eastwood, will be the best defensive team the Burg will see.
I also think that they have played a far tougher schedule and anything that that the potent Pirates offense shows them they will be prepared for.

On the other hand if the Burg plays their type of games and stays mistake free, they will win.

If I was going to fork out for any of the games this weekend, this would be the game.

The Pirates are the 2nd of 3 teams I have left as far as preseason predictions goes.

I have rethought this one and will go with the Pirates by 6 points.

I really don’t see a tougher schedule for them. They play mostly DV schools and I think a Burg would have went 10-0 against that schedule with about the same scores.

Trust me, I know this will the toughest team Burg has faced all year but I have to think Burg will be the toughest team Eastwood has faced.

OK. Here, poor sports, is why I am now no longer picking Burg. Burg struggled to beat the #140Pasteur ranked team. Eastwood beat South Range, the #85 ranked team easy. Look at not the division's or records , but simply at the rankings of the teams on the schedules and you will see why people are picking Eastwood. Rankings matter, not divisions or record.

By the numbers, Eastwood played tougher teams overall. Good D, solid O, tougher schedule. Eastwood is the pick.

Some idiot from Wheelersburg will yet again predict a running clock

Doubtful clown!!! Like I said on the Madison game thread no true Burg fan was predicting a running clock. Just like last night turnovers and field position will play a huge part in this game. Burg has a huge weapon in a kicker that can put it in the end zone that doesn’t allow the opposing team for a chance of a big return and makes them start on the 20.

Burg will have to play lights out again on defense. Has been the niche all year. Stopping the run!!

IS IT FRIDAY YET!!!
I would consider myself a "true burg fan" having graduated from burg, played football, and other sports. I didn't predict a running clock, 38-14 was my pick but I know plenty of other "true burg fans" who did. Our predictions were off but does that make us idiots or not burg fans? Noo there was plenty of evidence that supports those "predictions". Example, we placed running clocks on nearly every opponent, we have the best run defense in school history, paired with the best passing game in school history, vs a run only team coming out of the reported weakest region in the division. After it was said and done the evidence proved to be wrong with Madison being a great team, deserving a higher end of season rank. Point being ,check yourself before you decide to spew out noncense comments that make both of you seem...well...not "true burg fans and idiots".

I reckon I'll make the trip to Canton Friday to root on the Pirates. Wish the players the coaches and the community the best of luck.

We don't give a rats ass who you pick because you have always trashed SEO football. Like I said Burg would have went 10-0 against that schedule with probably about the same scores.

Rankings mean squat at this time of the year. Both teams will lay it on the line and bottomline is one team will win and one will lose. Both teams deserve to be there by there play in the playoffs

Burg has Great D, solid O and I'll say a push on the schedule. I'm not going on what one guy thinks, who probably sees none of the teams in SEO play so he is going on what scores he sees and some highlights.

Hell, in 89 Warren JFK looked great on paper. Bigger line both sides of the ball. Big stud of a RB. Special teams was better. Too bad SEOP's wasn't around then because I'm sure you would have been the first one on the thread saying Burg will lose this game by 3-4 scores and we could have just shut you down after the Burg 14-7 victory. Like that 89 Burg team, this team has a lot of heart and have been told just about every playoff game this team or that team will run all over your small D-line and your O-line will not be able to handle our big, fast D-line. They all came, they all lost and now Burg is playing for a state title. Doesn't matter the score all that matters is that the end of the game your side of the scoreboard has more points than there.

Strength of Schedule is irrelevant. Both teams have went undefeated to this point, so they’ve done what they needed to do. You win four playoff games, you’re probably a good football team. I’m picking burg until a team can actually use the run game without having great field position and score on them. Two rushing touchdowns in great field position mind you is all they have given up and they have played 3 out of 4 outstanding running teams. Eastwood will be no different. This game will come down to turnovers and field position. Whoever wins that wins the he game, if one handles the other fairly easily then the true champion will show.

:D  I am a Burg fan and predict the clock will run in this game until the end of the 4th quarter. LOL! OK that is out of the way. Knowing both teams will play like there is no tomorrow because there won't be, I will just say let's hope for a Burg victory. Burg can win this. They have shown adversity doesn't affect them. This bunch of young men and coaches remind me of a bunch of US military personnel. Don't tell us it can't be done because we will go show you it can. Go forth and prosper Pirates! Nothing but good MOJO heading your way!
