Re: Jackson at Gallia Academy
Jackson struggled to beat Meigs. Once again this one will be another laugher. Not trying to be rude but no one on the schedule can compete with the Big Blue except Fairland. And I think Gallia will split with them this year. As for the Jackson game I will lower my score totals as the Devils are not scoring like I had hoped but they are sticking it to teams defensively.

Hoping for a Blue Devil win, not so sure about a 30 point victory though.
Again, as before last game, hoping to see Peck dressed and playing in this one.

Re: Jackson at Gallia Academy
Jackson can’t compete with Gallia Academy. This will be over before the half. Guessing 75-39
Re: Jackson at Gallia Academy
From what I have heard, Peck will be back tonight. I'd look for him to be putting up some impressive numbers
Re: Jackson at Gallia Academy
If Peck plays in this game he will be very effective.. Jackson gives Blue Devils fits.. Jackson will be quicker at all positions then blue Devils and they can shoot.. I like the blue Devils in this game but this is probably a 10 Point game or less

I like what most Blue Devil fans are drinking thinking that of their team.
I believe svac83 is more with reality with his assessment. It will be a very good game.

I agree, I think it will be a hard fought game. Jackson is still a rival even though we aren't in the same league anymore.

I mean sure GA is probably the favorite but 36 points? Didn't we split last year with both games being 3-5 points either way? I am not a basketball guy but what happened in the last year? I know Loveday got a lot better from all accounts, but wasn't expecting an almost 40 point difference.
Re: Jackson at Gallia Academy
When Jackson plays Gallia theres a little more at stake ! Home court plays a big part in this one GA 62 Jackson 54 !

In the game at Jackson last year Peck isthe only reason the Blue Devils were not blown out of building at Jackson.. still came from like 10 or 12 down to make game look closer then it was most of way....doubleplay643 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2017 2:27 pmI mean sure GA is probably the favorite but 36 points? Even at Gallia Jackson harassed blue devils and forced one of the worst shooting nights of season.. Jackson was the only small team Gallia play that didn’t allow Loveday and peck alter there game.. they continued to dribble drive and used the basket and there bodies to protect there shots.. I think Jackson should be better at his year.. the Blue Devils look better this year but not sure.. how much of the improvement is more then the other one..

The Ironman always play the Devils tough and it’s still a rivalry game. They like the Devils are building confidence by winning games early. If Peck is back at normal stamina and strength he is a handful but I’m guessing he will have a little trouble getting up and down the floor and will have to play and practice himself into full game shape. In my opinion Gallipolis too strong for Jackson in this one and Loveday will give them fits in this game. Good luck to both teams and hopefully both teams leave as healthy as they came in. Go Devils
Re: Jackson at Gallia Academy
I think Gallia Academy is improved, but they are not 30 points better than Jackson and in no way will they compete with Fairland. I can appreciate the high hopes from their fans, but don't get ahead of yourself just yet and definitely don't underestimate the ironmen.
