The Donald knew Big Blue nation wasn't nearly as good as they thought. Fairland is. Gallia is going to have a tough time finishing ahead of Coal Grove and South Point in the OVC. I knew hanging close to Fairland was out of the question, but The Donald didn't tweet that for reasons of being labeled a hater..

Fairland a very good team. Just like we knew we were. I know we just got spanked by 47 in a game that could of been by 65 or more. But I saw some bright spots for devils. And some very frustrating things. Blue devils had 22 more turnovers then fairland before both teams emptied benches. Those 22 turnovers were probably worth close to 50 points.

Probably my positive thought on this is most of these happened in back court and they happened because you kept trying to break the press the exact same way and you could of fixed that by putting Loveday in the back court and not being lax with the ball. Put him in between foul line and center court and let him catch and distribute.

Another positive for blue Devils was on the offensive end with peck and Loveday in the game fairland had zero answers. So even though this is a 50 Point Loss I see some things to come from this. I blame the coach a little but you must put the lack of value on each possession on the players. Blue devils shot over 50% from 2 Point land and 9-11 from charity stripe.

Fairland starters 13-20 from 3 though is a tough thing to beat. And fairland over 50% from field even with the jv chucking all the missed 3’s late.

Fairland a great team blue devils need to figure out away to match that intensity.

Great night of basketball and blue devils still know they have a lot of work ahead of them.

I understand why the blue devils didn’t start peck but game was almost out of hand before he saw the floor.

I don’t think anyone that had watched fairland and Gallia play that fairland wasn’t a great team. I thought we would handle the pressure better we didn’t so fairland thumped is plain and simple... most of the people I saw say fairland wasn’t good were not Gallia posters. But I was definitely wrong thinking this could be a 10 point game.
