All 8 of them!! Lol. Sorry couldn’t resist. I honestly hope Green’s numbers improve. Hate to see their program in the state that it is right now.

Well I am pretty sure that Burg only had 2 boys that came to Burg via open enrollment after their freshmen year Lowery and Sowards everyone else played junior high for Burg.Seabee_0586 wrote: Tue Dec 19, 2017 8:44 amI’m not a hater I’m just poking a little fun get it right man

And count how many of those kids have gone to Wheelersburg well before hey started playing pee wee. As it has been stated only 2 kids that played on this years team came after Jr High.Seabee_0586 wrote: Thu Dec 21, 2017 11:45 pm Count the boys that live in franklin furnace township that go to burg
Re: SOC-DIVISION 2
What does it matter when they came? Basically a quarter of Wheelersburg's football roster is open enrollmentbleed_blue wrote: Fri Dec 22, 2017 6:34 amAnd count how many of those kids have gone to Wheelersburg well before hey started playing pee wee. I don’t know why anyone would want to stand on the sidelines and not get to play

Because everyone wants to whine about Wheelersburg having transfers when in fact most have gone to Wheelersburg for a majority of if not their entire educational career.Oak wrote: Fri Dec 22, 2017 11:13 amWhat does it matter when they came? Re: SOC-DIVISION 2
ARE YOU STUPID HOW MANY OF THEM HAVE TRANSFERED FROM OTHER SCHOOL AND HOW MANY HAVE BEEN GOING TO WHEELERSBURG SINCE THEY WERE YOUNG KIDS? I can get all dramatic too and use caps. How many of those that live in the Franklin Furnace school district have every went to Green?

Re: SOC-DIVISION 2
Actually this season, about 50 kids recorded a tackle in a varsity game. That is out of about 85 kids on the roster and doesn’t even count the kids that played in a game but did not record a tackle. Considering about 20 on the roster we’re freshman(they used to not dress for varsity games), that is a lot of kids playing. Also, 9 out of 10 regular season games were running clocks so that gives your reserves plenty of game experience. You should take into account the freshman games, JV games, and varsity mop up duty. Sounds like a good chance you are going to play somewhere. The player who scored the game tying TD in the state title game was a sophomore. Motto at Burg is best kid plays. Look at the change in QB this year.Seabee_0586 wrote: Fri Dec 22, 2017 12:00 pm I don’t know why anyone would want to stand on the sidelines and not get to play
Re: SOC-DIVISION 2
And that’s why I’m guessing the burg would not be a place for you or if you have kids your children.Seabee_0586 wrote: Fri Dec 22, 2017 12:00 pm I don’t know why anyone would want to stand on the sidelines and not get to play
There are kids at the burg that sacrifice for the betterment of the team. That’s why they are who they are. Kids that don’t buy in and are me players or don’t want to put in the work the burg coaches expect are better off somewhere else. There are some very good athletes that have left the burg because they could not buy into the burg way.

We had an all state qb moved to tight end! Sophomores starting! Freshmen getting playing time! All earned!
Re: SOC-DIVISION 2
So a kid that lives out 522 in Franklin frurnace but closer to burg should have to go to and play for green? That is stupid. Let's hinder a kid academically and athletically because he lives in another school district!
