Temp has been dropping like a rock all day. WC has mentioned what they call "flash freezing" may happen. Standing water/ponding on roads freezes quickly with temps dropping as fast as they are. Rivers and streams are in trouble too, ice jamming. The bottom is ready to drop out, and temps will fall even faster this evening. Artic blast again for a few days and going into next week.

The new shovel is no worry, need a new polished up furnace. Had a he(( of a time today with it firing it up after all the down time from the warmer weather. Praying it don't quit all together but I believe it's about to happen sooner or later, so my shovels are the last thing on my mind. KW can come up and do my walks if it bothers them that much looking at it driving by. Going to be pure heaven when the day comes I can get out of here.

Went to Walmart today at around 11am and my auto had 60 came out around 12:30pm and it was 44. 27 right now with plenty of snow.

14 feels like 7 here at 7am.monday morning we had right at 6 inches of snow here already. currently snowing again, expecting an addt. 1 to 3 inches. currently level 2 snow emergency .
